I do not support the policies of the obama camp. The polls shows he shall win.
Also, all of the advertising was very annoying. Both parties could've chosen better candidates.
This.
I hope to insert religious being and/or whomever you take great faith in that Obama doesn't get elected. Though in actuality, McCain is no better.
Bob Barr for President?
Why not.
Go libertarians.
Barr totally would have had my vote if he stood even a remote chance of winning.

democratic congress + democratic president = change
I disagree.
The current congress could have done more in their last term than they did. And their approval rating is lower than Bush's.
bush could barely get anything done with the current congress, you think mccain, basically another bush, can change that?

Living in Australia, I can only hope for America's (and the world's) sake that if Obama gets in he isn't like our Prime Minister, Kevin "Symbolic" Rudd. Though even then I'd say due to the Palin-factor McCain would be worse.
That being said, all these claims that Obama's policies are Communist makes me laugh. Obama is no more a Communist than John McCain, no matter what people are claiming. Slightly more Socialist than McCain? Perhaps, but not by much.

I think Obama's got this one
because it's scary to think about McCain dying and having Palin be president 😲

I voted for Bob Barr, actually.
EDIT: As of right now, Obama leads the popular vote by less than fifty thousand votes, and McCain is leading in the electoral college.

At this stage, with only Kentucky and New Hampshire having reported their final results, that's pretty meaningless. (Though interesting all the same)

True. Vermont is reported as well.
With 20% in, Indiana is a slight lead for McCain, but Indianapolis and Gary still need to report, and I see those going for Obama.

Obama is winning the popular vote by a Million -_- and seems to have quite a few states in the bag
I just can't understand some people, they seem to think that free trade is great, but Flash news, is not... with free trade someone always loses, just happens that most of the time the losers aren't US
Free Trade is great as long as you win the best deals and get a lot of stuff for cheap, sadly someone always loses, but that is not our problem... oh wait it is!!! you need to pay attention, thanks to China we are losing already and without some sort of regulation we are going to keep losing -_- and lose BIG.
Obama seems to have the better plan, yeah is not going to be great, but is the only option to stay afloat.
The only way Obama can turn out as the worse of both devils is If he fails to deliver most of his promises or if he is secretly an Al Qaeda sleeping operative and he is just playing along to kill us all... but WAIT when ANY person runs for any office in our country the agencies like the FBI, CIA, etc all dig around to see what they can find, so the chances of that are almost non existent >_>

A)The electoral college is what matters. That said, Obama already has 200 EC votes, so with California, Washington, and Oregon, he's pretty much a shoe in.
B) Someone always loses no matter what the economic policy is. With free trade, the risk/reward ratio is greater. Now, I don't support laissez-faire economics, but I don't support overbearing government regulation either. Middle ground is what must be reached.
As far as China- I'd rather live here than there, suffice to say.
C) Not even going to go there.

I never said China was better than the US >_>
Cheap labor (slaves) if used well can turn anyone into a behemoth (Egypt), as long you have enough of it. (and they don't dare to revolt)
Obama pretty much won, (not unexpected) and I think he is getting both the Popular Vote and the EC votes (even though the Popular won't be a land slide)
Obama said he wants to regulate the "free" trade and in his own words (as I remember them) "I am not going to say what is right and wrong, but I think common sense regulation is needed to avoid any nasty surprises in the future"
PS: I expect a little more than 145/155 million people voting in this election
and If I could bet, I would go for 151,463,297 ^_^

Still think and hope Obama will win.
Obama's winning in the electoral votes atm, with 207 whilst McCain has 138.
I would pack my bags and move to Canada if Palin becomes our president because McCain dies.
EDIT: He won Virginia. 😲 So now it's 220.

As ahoaho said, it's pretty much over. California, Oregon, Washington, and Hawaii total up to an additional 77 votes, add that to 207 for a bare minimum of 284 votes for Obama. A McCain upset in any of those would be incredibly shocking.
I'm happy about it, but that's just me.

I think Florida will go Blue... the only county of the state that has a lot of votes to count is Palm Beach... and that is as blue as it gets... so I believe Obama is going to win by 300k/400k votes in florida
NC is too close and pretty much all the counties are evenly counted so is hard to use the numbers there...
Virginia is pretty much in the same situation that Florida... only Blue leaning counties have to report votes, and McCain is already behind... so 2 more wins for Obama ^_^
PS: I could be wrong, but that doesn't happen very often... oopps my Ego!!!
