I uh... huh?
American music is "foreign" for me, most of my favourite bands are British and Finnish, foreign and not so foreign respectively...

I don't really care for where a band comes from... that is not how I look for new music, but more often than not, the sound I like does come from the same sources as others that I like.

so... which poll option is for me?

oh right some good foreign bands: Muse (british), MUCC (japanese), Swallow the Sun (finnish), Behemoth (polish), Anaal Nathrakh (british), Týr (faroese), Beborn Beton (german)

Like havoccc I barley even listen to American music only usually if it is blues. The majority of the bands I listen to are usually British or Norwegian. I have also been intrested in Indian music like Ravi Shankar. Ha forgot the bands
Ravi Shankar (India)
Samla Mammas Mamma (Swedish)
Pink Floyd (British)
*Shels (British)
Opeth (Swedish)
Black Sabbath (British)
Dimmu Borgir (Norwegian)
Etron Fou Leloublan (French)
Tried to be a little diverse.

5 for me. I'm always open to music from different countries. By foreign, I would've imagined you meant "songs that aren't in English", but I guess here that means any music outside of your own country.
Well, I live in Ireland, and there's only a few Irish bands I actually like. I listen to American, Canadian, French, British, Japanese, German, Icelandic, Norwegian, African, and Spanish music.

Unless there's another Boa, which there very well may be, I thought they were Korean.

I'm rather partial to Australian rock bands. Interestingly enough I first heard them on my local rock radio station
Full Scale
Wolfmother
Airbourne
The Vines

I'm also a huge fan of Yoko Kanno

I just like to listen to whatever interests me, it doesn't really matter what country they are from, although I know a lot of people that only listen to American music but I just think you miss out on a lot of great bands when you do that.

Kiyoharu (Japanese)
Loveholic (Korean)
The Pigeon Detectives (British)
Artic Monkeys (British)
Mondialito (French, although they are japanese.)
Rodrigo y Gabriela (Mexican)
La Oreja de Van Gogh (Spanish)

Option 4.
I listen to foreign music,
but only if it is strange and
inspiring, not just some lame
rock format.

I only listen to what sounds good to me, so in many cases I have no idea where the band is from and honestly, it doesn't even matter to me.

Now that I think of it, few of the bands I like are from the same country, most are from all over Europe (especially Western and Northern Europe).

I listen to "foreign music". Well, my 1st language is Spanish, so I've listened to a couple of their songs. English is my 2nd language so yeah. French is my 3rd language so of course I end up listening to French music.
Overall, I listen to songs that are in: English, Spanish, French, Japanese, and Korean 😃
