what is the first thing u do if a bat somehow gets into your house?? personally i don't find them very fringtening but i still dont want them to get too close to me. but it kind of gets confusing as to what to do when everyone else around you is freaking out. 😐

Vampire bats just do it for living.
They are bats as well.

😲 WTH!? Omg how the heck does a bat get inside my house?! Where did it come from?! Can it suck my blood? It's too hot for bats and I don't live near a cave or wilderness! Omg I need to go get the garlic and a cross!
I'd freak simple as that. I mean how many times have I seen an actual live bat? 0. So yeah I wouldn't know what to do but panic and run into my backyard then call the animal control center.

After closing all the doors to the rooms and opening the front & back doors, I'd probably get a sheet, hold it up, and either guide it out of the house or catch it and release it at the end of the street.

Probably freak out, since I don't like anything that flies at night 🤣 Then try to chase it out with the closest thing I can grab.

i don't know how but bats seem to find a way into my house much too often. i don't really mind but everyone else freaks out and try to hide. i couldn't catch it on my own but my cat caught it. don't worry though she didn't hurt it or anything . i let it outside but it will probably find its way back in again 😐

I've only ever seen bats in the attic hatch during winter. [To hibernate?]

In grade school I was told not to wake them (if they hibernate and wake up, they may not survive the winter). I checked out of curiosity and just left them.

If it got into the main portions of the house, I would shoo it away. A friend once caught a bat in his dorm and kept it during the summer. 😀 He had to hide it from the deans.
