eh did a few public speeches, like for my Confirmation (a rite of initiation in some Christian Churches, Catholic in my case) in front of a ~1000 people and a bishop, had to kiss his ring 🤢
anyways i don't have any problems with public speaking, but i'll try to avoid it if i can...

ah yes its kill your nerve.... sooo nervous and just imagine if you mess up.. but who cares what you say its correct in you're belief (must be reasonable) then you just repeat it. If you just can't stand the stare look at something else or focus it to a friend in the audience.

i'm an introvert, so speaking to anyone let alone in front of a bunch of people goes against my nature. however, i was forced to do so in high school a lot (because i was the student council president...) if i had a choice, i would prefer not to, but if it was a choice between life and death, i would definately talk.

i pitty and find it pathetic for those who can not bring the ability to speak in front of people.

Sure, I don't like speaking in public, but I don't think it's worth dying over.
I've done it before. It turned out alrite. Can't run away from things that scare us. Gotta take them head on.

I would rather die then speak in front of people. I have severe anxiety about a lot of things and to be the focus of a lot of peoples attention is worse then death to me. i have had to talk in front of people before, school and work, but i get so worked up over it to the point that i cant sleep for like three days before i have to do it, its the only think i can think about. Then when i have to actually do it i just basically black out and like my "alter ego" takes over and I talk out my ass, after it is done i cant remember what i said or what really happened, but everyone says i knocked it out of the park. I know that sounds kinda weird and right out of an anime, but it is true and this happens every time i have to talk in front of people, so by now im used to it, and i just let the other me take care of it. Which means that i dont really have to talk in front of people lol.

i dont have any problems speaking infront of a crowd...because i was trained at a very young age...anyways even if i do have that kind of problem...my love for life will surely transcede it... 🤣

i choose laugh.... XP
if i have to then i would speak. i wouldn't speak out if i don't have to or if no one tell me to speak out... i'm more of a 'live-in-my-head' kind of person, so even if i'm in the middle of my friends, and no one need me to speak or there's no point for me to speak, i would just stare into spaces..
but alot of time people come to me for help/teach them something.. 😀 , and what i usually do is to teach them how to think, not to give them a direct answer for the question they seek.

I used to teach people for a living, so I have no problem getting up in front of people and speaking. I'd feel rather stupid if I didn't know what I was speaking about, but I wouldn't have a problem making the attempt at least.
If you've ever thought or said "Nice Guys finish last" and really meant it, then you should probably read this LJ post by DivaLion. It's incredibly insightful whether you're male or female.

I would speak. It isn't that bad.
I get really embarrassed if I'm doing a written out speech, but for some reason, I'm only slightly embarrassed if I free-style it. I guess because if I don't have a speech I have nothing to mess up.

Well, in all honesty, I purposely failed a few classes because our main project that covers a big part of our final grade is public speaking. And I didn't want to do it.
I'm really trying to get over it now, though. Having Political Science as my major and thinking about going into law school and I'm afraid of public speaking? Pchyeah. So I really do need to get over it soon.
