WHAT THE HECK?! This manga was surprisingly amazing! i didn't expect it to be this GREAT! At first i was hesitant cuz i mean.. Makoto looks like a chick and Ito looks like a boy and at first i was uncomfortable with the whole gender-bender concept but you get used to it since Makoto acts like a boy when he's himself (He's actually very very manly, just for the heads up.) I loved the whole concept of "never giving up on your dream" because it very much relates to everyone and the reality of chasing the "impossible" and the concept of hard work. The characters were also very likable, especially Ito because of her strength and determination! Very unique manga, each volume served a purpose and was very entertaining. Amazing, Loved it and the characters were truly inspirational. A manga definitely worthy of a 10.
-Next up W-Juliet II-
It is an awesome manga!! Very cute! Very funny! certainly worth a shot!
Love it! This is how I fall in love with Emura sensei. The relationship between Mako and Ito is just simply adorable. Mako is so protective and I feel like that if he's a real person, he will be the perfect guy you want as a BF XD
this is an AWESOME series! I was going to stop reading the first volume halfway through, but then I decided to finish it and complete the 2nd one also since I borrowed both. It go sooo much better after that and I got hooked! sometimes it's a bit draggy and off-topic here and there, but watching the characters slowly develop was real interesting. I love the main girl too! she's so likable and awesome unlike those annoying girly girls in other shoujo. overall it was a really good read and definitely deserves a 10
I am very much enjoying this manga and cannot wait to read more ^^
one of my faves
i was kinda embarassed that i skip this manga so many times. however, i'm glad that i tried it since it became one of my favorites. i just love how the story progress. i found another heroine who's not winny and weak, i'm so glad. makoto-san is really interesting as well. the art was done very well and you can really see the characters expression. truly, one of the best that i've read. i 100% recommend this manga to everyone.
When I was on the first chapter I got confused, I thought that the guy was the short dark haired dude and the girl was the long haired blonde person (on the manga cover) but its the opposite...I'm still like, WTF?! Yeh, I'm not sure if im going to continue reading this series because its going to get on my nerves just by looking at that girl that looks TOTALLY like a boy and that buy who looks TOTALLY like a girl... O.O;
best one out there!!!
this is the best gender-bender manga i've ever read! yea sure there's also the classic HanaKimi but HK tends to be a little draggy at the end (though it ended well) but i'm giving W-Juliet extra cause it made me laugh, right till the end... yes, even though everything is pretty much settled but there's still enough comedy left to leave you breathless, literally laughing too much... =)
i put this as one of my Top 10 Best Manga!!! ^^
Awesome series! I went out to buy them at the store after reading a couple of volumes. Worth reading. Couple is so cute~
This is a very orginal crossdressing manga, and it certainly has its unique points to it. There IS a story, but it progresses really slowly, and most of the manga is kind of set up like an episodic line of tales.
I found reading this manga was sometimes like a chore. It's repetitive, and there's no actual romantic tension between the heroine and members of love triangle. While the female rival is actually kind of cool, the male rivals are just plain posessive and thoughtless. It's like they're just addicted to this girl for no reason.
Art was pretty nice. I didn't find it really engaging. This manga is another one of those 'Good Guys Win All', 'Good Guys are Always Right' stories. It's almost disgusting how every situation turns in favor of the main leads.
I thought this manga was really original. Including the fact that the girl looked almost too disturbingly male to fully enjoy the story. I think I'd like the story better if the girl's and the guy's appearances were switched; but well that would ruin the whole purpose of the story...
