At first with the 10 maiden in question need to be captured or raised a flag. I though WoW its awesome for the first time a good plot for me from this author. Then what I have got I was disappointed it turn out to be a one princess to be protected again. Flame of Recca and MAR. The other girls are mainly ignored or rather haven't been introduced yet. I waiting for further story development. The plot is good but the way its been laid out is the same as before.
But the action is still superb as ever. I was still and will still be a fan of this guy. He has amazing drawing skills and I like the few laughs and the idea of the power. It just lacks the story to make it perfect. |

Nothing special really. The plot is mediocre and the characters typical. It has a few humourous parts but nothing side splitting. A typical action style manga, very unrealistic but ok as a light read. Nothing too in-depth or complicated just loser boys and lots of fights. The powers are slightly interesting and I'm curious about how it turns out but this isn't what I'd call gripping and I almost dropped it at the first chapter. I'm not too keen on the art, the characters look to young but even this is very typical shounen style. Overall a very average shounen manga in my opinion.

to pandaslayer0: It's his style of art. There're alot of mangaka use the same style for their main characters, so there's no surprise, and you should get use to it, or don't read it at all 
anyways, this seems interesting, but i will let i go for a while before reading it. |

I think this series is meant to be a light read, fast paced, comedy. Although it does get a little serious later, it's just a little drama to keep the story moving. It doesn't compare to some of his other works, but maybe it'll improve later on...

| Being an adament fan of both Flame of Recca and MAR, I was really disappointed by the start of this series. I rated it a 0 out of 10. I only read it in my support of Anzai-sensei. However, recent events have changed my opinion somewhat. It has more action than I thought (It started off as a brainless comidic harem) and the new arc just might be satisfactory. Although I doubt it will ever reach the greatness of the aforementioned series. |

hum... this manga seems being underrated, well it's not great, somehow illogical & over crazy but i still enjoy it )
Most irritating thing is that a chapter just only includes 10 pages and there're so much texts =.=

| the only problem i have with this really...is the stupid finger crap...he has issues. Just b/c of that I cant continue reading this...his weapon is lame. It had its comedy..but jsut didnt cut it for me. |

Ok, its official, love/comedy is something Anzai Nobuyuki should focus on, becuase frankly, i hate his shounen works. flam and recca and MAR should just be burned or shipped ot Mars [... *snort* sorry, i couldnt resist.... stupid joke. but really, theyre that bad]
ahem.
soooooo, despite this author making his readers go "really?" with the first few pages of this new work: "read this awesome new manga"... ah well, it could be much worse.
the story seems fine. the humor is ok. its attention grabbingness is average. but thats ok, the things just getting started, i'll cut the guy some slack.
but WHY, WHY, WHY are all his characters the same? i mean, across this manga, flame of recca, MAR, the same character designs pop up. i thought he would be going for innnovativeness now that hes changed genres again.
theres always the main character: arrogant, always a good fighter, has the same expression in fights, and spits out deaththreats like theres no tommorow.
theres always an old guy whos like a father/elder brother to the character, and is drawn that when viewed from the side, looks like he his face is splitting in half.
and girls... having the SAME face... but ok, dont know how he would really change that, but they really look the same. i mean, i honestly think characters from Adachis mangas look more different from each other than these girls.
but ok...
the things just started, pray he doesnt get sick and tired of it and rush it to finish it [i mean, really man, if you dont feel like continuing, bow out with "extended break" dont ruin the manga with a rushed ending....cuz we know you cant pull of a decent one] |

so after reading some comments i decided to try it.
first page i almost threw up, i dont know if its the scans, but this art is pure garbage. wow.
not only that but it really bugs me with this conceited author that keeps saying "a GREAT new manga is about to begin" "enjoy this COOL new series".... cmon lets be humble especially when this is pure garbage.
dont read this, this is probably the worst manga i have ever read. honestly. completely uninspired and pathetic. avoid this like the plague

i dont mind the drawing that much.
and the characters are awesomely funny.
the plot is not too awesome.
