Description
From Broccoli: Princess Alita must protect her kingdom from a coup d'etat. But on her way to get help, a magical mishap trapped her inside the body of a bounty hunter named Falis. Now Alita must rule disguised as a servant as the battle-savvy Falis sits on the throne in her body.
And thus the story about the strongest and most violent princess in the history of the kingdom begins.
I dont know if it is just my pervese mind or are there hints of shoujo-ai?
I am not sure that those moments of "hints" between them [Falis and Alita] can be definitely categorized as close friendship because there isn't any explicit portrayals of their interaction with each other and they barely know about each other.
Though, to be honest, I really dont mind the cute moments between them at all~ I wonder if all shoujo-ai centered mangas are like this...maybe I could check them out... ...nah~ they wont have an awesome character like Falis.
I adore the art, entirely <3
The sidecharacters are cute. The main character, Falis, she is a KICKASS character. Love her. Her justifiable arrogance & other people's reaction to it is Funny! She is not dominated by the typical "coldness" of underdeveloped strong killer characters either..
I enjoyed the fighting (they are bloody and realistic--unlike some other mangas...*ahem*>magicshoujo<*ahem* Although, they were entertaining and sorta thrillling~ it was not as brilliant as the fight scenes in... Claymore (the best shounen but girl main fighting i can recall on top of my head)
And, i agree with other people's comments of the under development (in characters, plot). Well, its only 2 volumes >_>; what can i say? A likeable short series. Original plot and intriguing components that could've been elaborated upon - and could've attracted more "love".
I think i'd minus points for wasting potentially amazing plots~ as well as the underdevelopment~ But overall, a pleasurable read! ^^
Such a really bad ending. It never really explained alot of things that were left hanging. Things could have been developed further in the manga, such the plot.
lousy ending. there were so many things that could have been developed further, so many things lacked explanation. Also, character development was poor. The overall plot was good, but as Dee24 says, it collapsed at the end. The action and suspense was really good, but everything lacked depth. I'm disappointed that the mangaka took a really good idea and did a lousy job executing it.
The level at which this story was told is better suited for those under the age of 10.
Positive: very fast pacing(absolutely no dragging of plot), great art(very nice character designs), nice jokes, some rather likeable characters.
Negative: insufficient character development(read: the professor and at least a number of other side characters), what seemed to be a strong plot collapsed at the end and insufficient closure for the story and other characters.
In short, a good story if you want some light entertainment. However, if you're looking for something deeper, find another title instead.
unlike the ova (in 2007) there is no yuri but solid good laughs and a greater story line. i watched the ova only to be let down if your a true fan and hav no interest in the comments i have oposted about the ova - don't see it, you will be teribly let down. however if you don't mind that - go ahead and watch it. it aint my cuppu tea but it may be YOURS. btw the ova has a total different storyline compared to the manga! (i know because at the time i was only watching for the storyline so when it went crap; i deserted the ova)
well the first two chapters that are out look promising.. if u like cute girls fighting than read this.. also it may not say it may have its own dark humor in it..
