Hakushaku to Yousei (Novel)

Description

The story is set in Victorian England. It follows the adventures of 17-year-old Lydia Carlton, who is nicknamed the "Fairy Doctor" due to her interest in fairies. Her life takes a 180-degrees turn when she meets Edgar J.C Ashenbert, the "Legendary Blue Knight Count" and his crew on a sea voyage to London. Edgar hires her as an adviser during his quest to obtain a treasured sword that was supposed to be handed down to him by his family.

When I read Hakushaku to Yousei manga, I found that I love it. But, when I read the novel, I've fallen too deep for them! Really, the author has a great hand to make a lovely story which is could be cute sometimes and sweet in another times. The dialogue of the characters are really refreshing and cute, especially with the plain and straight Raven acted when it comes to Edgar and Lydia in their teasing conversation. I laughed a lot. I haven't read it much because translation problem, though, I still willing my time for them. I kinda hope that I could learn Japanese, but, it's okay. Anyway, you should read this, very recommended! And Raven, I love you as much as I love Edgar!
