I like this manga. The characters are interesting, and it is refreshing to see a story take place in a university setting instead of high school. It is unique in that the female lead is extremely smart and talented--you don't get to see much of that in manga unfortunately.
It's disappointing to see it end prematurely because it had lots of potential. Overall though, the story doesn't end up going much of anywhere in its short 17 chapter run.

The basic premise is that of a teenage girl who is a billionaire due to her prowess on the stock market but is socially awkward. Part of the reason for her isolation is due to how her parents reacted to her sudden wealth and that people have tried to get close to her to benefit from her.
Our male MC is a sort of aloof university student who is hired by his acquaintance, who happens to be the female MCs uncle, to tutor her.
The original dynamic results in our female MC gradually becoming more socially active as she spends more time with the male MC and his group of friends. The male MC also changes as he also finds himself wanting to become closer to our female MC and does things which are contradictory to his personality.
Towards the end of the manga the dynamic changes between the two changes. Our female MC has more people in her life and is not reliant on the male MC. The male MC starts to get depressed when another guy starts dating the female MC. This changes the 50/50 relationship between the characters and as the manga rushes towards its end, none of the important things are actually communicated between the protagonists.
Despite the flaws in the last few chapters, this is a series which has a different feel to it that I found to be a breadth of fresh air.

A very nice manga with great characters, plot and art! Everything about this is very nice except for the pace being a bit fast in the end, but that's just me disliking calling something perfect XD I also learnt some things about stocks and it gave me very refreshing ideas about money. It'd have been nice to have the character development shown more as well as how the relationships developed. I felt as if there were a lot of tiny time skips. In summary, it's a very nice and well-done manga but perhaps not my thing so I don't love it but I appreciate the story and mangaka!

I enjoyed it until the last volume. Great concept, good execution until the last volume. Love the art. The characters are a bit flat but better than the typical manga. I think Billionaire Girl would have benefited more from an extra volume instead of ending things the way it did. I'd like to avoid spoilers so I won't go into detail but let's just say the ending is typical fare, which is why it brought the manga down from an 8 to a 7 for me. It was frustrating finishing this manga and if I wasn't so close to the end, I would have dropped it.

I thought it was shoujo at first so I was wondering why the MC was male and why the art was shounen/seinen-ish. LOL. I only realized after about 10 chapters. How stupid of me. But I didn't really care cuz I don't really like shoujo much. Anyways, it's interesting and somehow intriguing. It's kind of refreshing too.
So glat Yukari is back!

I love this story and am so glad that it has continued. I look forward to more high-end economics romantic comedy from the master of the "Genre". (Is it really a genre if only one person writes it?)
Awesome, but why on hiatus?! ToT

Oh why oh why is it on hiatus!? ToT I picked this up 'cause the MU reviews were singing praises for it. Plus the summary was interesting so I decided to pick this up. Now I want more. ToT
I like this manga. It talks about stocks and even about money issue that can be hard to talk among friends; like the pride of being able to pay for the meal, how much you make from your job, etc.
Character development is good. Each chapter you learn something about Yukari, Kei, and even the side characters. I love how it builds it slowly step-by-step and I can't help but feel something good will happen.
It does have its humor. I laughed when a character say something that shocks the other character speechless and I just love the atmosphere the artist portrays at that moment.
This story have a great potential and I'll love to see how it'll turn out if it updates.

If there's a word fit to this manga should be this one...
Its kinda slow paced, and is really original. There are times that the manga gets confusing, but overall its really good.
And the main character...i still dont know if he is dumb or inteligent, all i know is that i like both protagonists... =]
