Description
Here we get to follow a story about Sawaragi from Takaga Koi daro.

Continues the story of Sawaragi-san after his jail time.

Having been sentenced to 5 years in prison for dealing drugs, yakuza Kyousuke Sawaragi just wants to finish his sentence and start a nice normal life far away from his past. So after parole, when he literally runs into former cellmate Shuuya, he's in no hurry to renew their acquaintance. Fate seems to have other ideas though, having the yakuza and Shuuya repeatedly cross paths with him. Can he really turn his back on all of it, especially if it holds out his one chance at finding true love? It's exciting romance as only the famed Saki Aida (S) can write it and Yugi Yamada (Close the Last Door) can draw it!

I didn't like Sawaragi in the prequel, but getting to know more about him here sure changed my mind!
Both characters were likable even though the "given up on life so now he gives away his body" type of boy usually is hard to bring across well - I really liked Shuya here.
The only thing I'd have to say is that I think a story like that isn't made for only 1 volume. I felt that there was a lot missing concerning their relationship and how they changed. At the start they didn't like each other and they're very different characters - neither of them really looking for love, so I think that if the manga were longer and we'd be given more time with the characters, have them slowly change it would be easier to understand why exactly they now fell in love with one another.
I feel like it's a bit disconnected and shallow, I can't follow the reason why Sawaragi fell in love with Shuya exactly, or what made Shuya realize what he wanted.
Well, aside from that, it's still a good manga and worth the read!
Also still love Izumi and his lover as well as the kids... I'd love to see a story about Makoto and Ai since they're already hinted to turn out gay in the future...lol ...

I liked this manga a lot. It was a fine, well developed yaoi. It is full of feelings, actions and smexyness. Not to mention the art, that I find very beautiful. The thing I like the more, is that the protagonists act in a reasonable way. In a lot of yaoi manga things are too rushed, and characters seem to run so fast that they're ridiculous or clichéd. On the contrary, this manga is perfect: the flow of the narration isn't too slow, but it isn't even to rushed. The two main characters are so interesting! Sawaragi is cool, he always has the situation under his control, but even if he seems cold, he is a caring, gentle person. And what about Shuuya? He's just too sexy and hot! But he's also lovely and his eyes are so beautiful ─ I know it may be strange, but I was very moved by some pictures of him. I'd recommend this manga to anyone who likes yaoi!

I really liked the prequel to this so I am happy to see this finally finished. I really enjoyed it. The characters and development are quite good and have a natural flow to them. Sawaragi is a really stand-up guy and a rare kind of man to find in yaoi. I really, really value character development which feels *real* and is neither forced nor rushed, and this manga has that. On the outside this is just a typical story, but if you've read enough garbage I think you will find that this has more to offer than average.

This was such a sexy and enjoyable manga. One of my favorite characters in yaoi are in this manga. Sawaragi-san is my ultimate seme wink He is tough, smart and sexy. Shuuya is this adorable guy whose life has been very cruel to him and you just get to love him. They make a perfect couple and compliment each other so well. You root for them all the way.

This is one of my favorites smile

believe it or not I will be very bothered by the art if the story isnt that good. But it's that good, or I might say, the seme character is very interesting. So I keep reading and even dying to read more!

I can't stop loving this. It is probably the best manga I've read. Mostly because of Sawaragi and how mature he is. He got control over the situation, he know what's happening, yet somewhere he is still unsure what he really wants with Shuya. I just love the way he's handling it. Shuya is all lost in life, and you can see Sawaragi really cares for him.

The art is fine, the plot is realistic, good and sometimes charming in a cute way, the characters are the BEST. I can't wish for anymore.

After I read this, I read Takaga Koi daro, but I was surprisingly disappointed. Though, it's not a bad manga, but I enjoyed Sawaragi more than the main couple in there.

I'm SO looking forward to the fourth chapter!
