I loved each of the stories in this manga, and found each of them sweet and tender. But I was hoping for more development on the part of Momo. This manga is more or less, a collection of short stories about dealing with death.
Think Full Moon Wo Sagashite without the romancefluff and you've got the touching story of Shinigami no Ballad.
This story is a story about Momo, the white shinigami who helps people through death. Each chapter is its own story, all tender and heart wrenching, dealing with people who have lost loved ones and how Momo's words and the people around them can help them through these tough times.
There's something really special about this manga in that it deals with life in a supernatural way. Momo is a kind shinigami, who even if she is taking a life will try to fulfill the last wishes and help those around the dead person to go through with the pain. Each story is touching and sweet, and not to mention the art is amazing.
This is definitely a highly recommended story for all people.
