This is one of the shoujo smut mangas that didn't pissed me off. I mean most smut mangas I've read has weak female lead that they always give in to the male lead. Like duh! I am ashamed to have the same gender as them. So I was saying, this manga is different. [In a good way].

The female lead is not your typical shoujo smut manga female character. She's strong and I kind of like her kuudere [Stoic/cold] attitude. She's a hard to get unlike those other smut mangas where the female lead just give to the male lead's handsomeness. Its rare for a smut manga to have characters like this. Actually, this is the first manga I've read that has this good plot.
I saw the negative comments and I completely disagree, in my opinion. This manga is great though I agree that this will be better if they made this longer. I was left cliff hanged! I hate cliff hangers.... So basically I'll rate this manga a 9 since I am generous biggrin

I have high standards for my shojo mangas and this one didn't meet any of them...
Granted, coming from BL manga I am very spoiled concerning good looking men.... and the art in this is just hideous. It's not my taste at all and the guy is everything but attractive.
I found this hard to read due to random paneling and no real flow.
The characters don't come across like they should - we don't get much of that feeling that guy's supposed to give, the fact that he's oh such a playboy and has every girl, I wouldn't know if he didn't mention it himself in the manga... it's just that shallow.
All I can tell is he is a spoiled, egoistic, insecure little brat.
Feels like he meets the girl and a day later he's totally heartbroken and crying over his big big loss... uh where's the impact? They start dating for no reason what-so-ever and then causes problems cause he's a horny bastard....

Don't waste your time on this. The title sounded fun but as soon as you start reading you will be let down! If you are looking for Shojo Smut then there's MUCH better stuff out there... I don't see any reason to read this manga, at all, unless for some reason you are a fan of really idiotic bratty men.
There is nothing likable about the characters...

Okay, I kind of like it a bit. It's funny, the way how "a sex machine" or "a man who exists solely for obscenity and sin" changes to such a spoiled brat when he really falls in love with the girl.
But the progress runs so fast, if it had been made longer, it would've been more interesting.

So I didn't HATE it until the end.
It seemed so incomplete. Like it was cut short.
So she was cold to him most of the time because she was TEASING him?

After hearing so many gushing reviews of this series, I though I'd give it a try. What a mistake. I don't think I've read a more idiotic volume of soft porn in my lifetime. I was hoping I might find a girl in smut that's actually dominant. How could anyone see Yumi as dominant? She just has a bland personality and doesn't bother resisting when threatened by rape. And seriously, if anyone thinks of Kiriyuu as likeable, there is something wrong with that person.

Well, at least I got to see what everyone's complaining about smut.

I gotta tell you... smut never makes me laugh. Or any manga. RARELY do I actually laugh at comedy mangas.

The part where he shows up in a suit had me laughing really hard.

I loved this. XD So sick of smuts where the girl is PUNY and the guy is just a hormone-obsessed fella (Kaname is too, but the other aspects of him make up for it), so I loved Yumi. I loved how Kaname was the one freaking out over tiny things, instead of the girl. Great source for comedy.

Great series. XD Would DEFINITELY read again.

I don't usually read manga with a male protagonist cuz I'm a shoujo addict but this one was well worth a read, it was funny and really sweet so I would recommend it to anybody who wants a good laugh with a bit of sexiness, also for all those who hate weak female lead characters - this manga certainly doesn't have one ^_~

this one is really hilarious!!
i was really laughing out loud while i was reading this!!
my sister is even asking me if i was crazy but i dont care!!

about the story...hmmm...
i like it when the girl is dominant...cause im a feminist...also having a somehow pet like boyfriend is cute too~ Kaname is a very cute fucking rocker!! fufufufufufu...i just have too say it...
the story's conflict isnt really something hardcore and it was quite refreshing for a smut manga to have a guy who was sweating over the details...so basically this is unusual...it has broken the laws of smut!!! what a breakthrough!!

oh..almost forgot...about the art...i cant say i love it but it has its moment...i especially like the part where they where both in the bed and Yumi kissed him in the forehead and said "because i love you"...total kyaaaaaa!! moment...

a definite must read!!

this is amazing. perfect for one volume, and and it wldve gone bad
know that its only 1 volume long before reading it.
"lack of character development " --zz dont listen to that . its a really good read 10/10

I liked the idea of role reversal for this story and it was wonderful seeing a strong character for the female. However, I was disappointed with the lack of character development. The humor could've used some work and if your looking for smut, you won't get much. But is was a cute story that held my attention for its entire 1 volume. I recommend giving it a go for a cute and slightly different twist on shoujo manga. biggrin
