really sweet~ by sanzo_reload on September 11th, 2008, 4:43am

I know that the first chappie might not catch your attention, but as you read further, I'll guarantee that you'll love it! It's a very sweet love story that will make you go 'awwwww..'. Give it a try!

Not impressed. by .Kaii on June 30th, 2008, 1:21pm

I'm generally not impressed by this manga - it's not what I had expected. Mainly building on to the negative points highlighted by Celinae, I have to say that, well, it's less than good.

I'm rather dissappointed, to say the least, since the storyline was unique and it seemed off to a good start. However, it just went downhill from there.

Promising, though a few minus points, so far.. by celinae on December 27th, 2007, 12:52pm

Hmm.. since I've only been able to read the one chapter that's been released, I can't say what the manga will be like later. But, so far, it's pretty promising. The art is nicely drawn, a bit sketchy at times, but then there are quite a few places where it matched up to the lovely cover.
[edit by mod, (Beware for spoilers up ahead!!) ]

The plot is rather interesting, too, but there are a few points that detract from the flow of the manga. First off it's pretty cliche at times (it manages to mostly avoid it, but .. there *were* places), and also, the pairing falls in love so quickly, with little build-up to it. I feel like the manga-ka could have used their feelings for one another in rather interesting ways, but she has them confess at the end of the first chapter, when the buildup to that love seems kind of shaky..

Not to mention that I felt one scene (the scene in the marketplace) was poorly executed--it was hard to follow the action, and the way that the two main characters interacted with the people in the marketplace seemed kind of superficial.

But the rest of it was pretty interesting! I hope the manga-ka shows them deepening their relationship in the future.. And the art *is* really pretty. Barring the things I discussed earlier, it's a nice story, very light and sweet, and the original situation is rather different than a lot of other shoujo manga. Here's to hoping that it lives up to its potential! ^^
