I liked how Ishtar and Duzzie met as owner and cat haha. If only they were meant to be with each other.. I wonder if she actually gave birth to the reincarnations of Phelios and Duzzell..

I thought the end was rather wierd... I mean... Duzie didn't have to use the La Gamme spell... even weakened and unable to use other holy spells he was still the vampire king right? Surely he'd kick ass on one single human... and just why would Phelios, of all people, sleep with a vampire? Why would the vampire sleep with him!? And why does Diaage hate Duzell so much that she'd sacrifice herself to be made into a sword just to kill him!? ... and her promise never does get kept - Sharlen got killed before Phelios got reincarnated O_o Which leads us to the question - why couldn't Sharlen simply control the king instead of possessing him in such a fashion he'd be killed when the king committed suicide!?

I hated the ending. It was stupid how Ishtar gave birth to two cat demons. Did she get screwed by Duzzel before Duzzel dies? So confusing. Even after giving birth, she still maintained her "good looks" and her body shape. That's not believeable anymore.

Everyone who is confused about who the reborn Phelios was: I'm quite sure it's one of her sons and what Duzzy felt at the beginning was Ishtar who will give birth to him.

I really liked the heroine in this series. She wasn't too obsessed with the guy she liked and she was really independent. I'm glad that the vampire theme didn't take over the series, but I have to say that some things just didn't match up. It may just be me, but the ages kept changing in the middle of the manga (and I know it's a really little thing, but that just bothered me a bit). Also, I think that the mangaka could have done a better job on expressing the love Duzzel and Darres had for Ishtar, or just the love relationships in general. I mean, it was obvious that Ishtar was in love with Darres, but Darres never says that he loves her too, but I guess you could tell in the end when they have twins... I am personally glad that Ishtar ended up with Darres because he has been taking care of her for his entire life, but I liked Duzzie as well. Overall, I liked the ending, especially with Ishtar giving birth to the twins Phelios and Duzzel, but was it really necessary for Yuujin to die?!?! Anyways, those are just some of my random thoughts on this series. I really liked and would recommend it.

But I thought the ending was sad, and a little annoying. I mean, I knew I was never going to be happy, because I was kind of rooting for both Duzell AND Darres to end up with Ishtar. But seriously! We never even found out for sure who Phelios' reincarnation was! If he was even reincarnated at all - before Ishtar gave birth to twins, anyway.

And I thought it was sad that Vord and Falen ended up together, instead of Falen and Illsaide, who seemed more...in love, I guess. And there was no conclusion to the hinted romance between Laphiji and Seiliez - were they in love, did they get together, did they break up...the mangaka could have done a lot more with them.

And I hated how they left loose ends hanging, like why Vord went all the way back home via his teleporting ring, just to get two more rings from his brothers. And what was that 'special thing' that only Seiliez could do? And what happened to the one traitor vampire who helped Duzell escape? Did she die? Run away? Is she a citizen of Razenia, or Pheliosta? I want to know! T-T

And BOTH Yuujin AND Duzell AND Sharlen died! One was bad enough, but ALL THREE of my favorite characters got killed off?! That's annoying!
