I'm a little confused by the "gender bender" tag, as it's incorrect. The princess Ermine feels like she was born in the wrong body, but she doesn't actually cosplay as a man. Shoujo-ai tag is missing, which would be more correct to add. I love the artwork, the story was okay, I did find Ermine to be a rather selfish character though. Wish the ending had been more conclusive as well.
crappy plot, ended before anything happened

I'm definitely the target demographic of this kind of manga, and I love the detailed old-school art style but... story-wise, this is just ridiculously stupid. It's not a spoiler to say that most of the manga revolves around whether or not this transgendered princess is going to be the savior or the doom of her kingdom. Well, she says from page one that she doesn't care about her kingdom and that's true until the very end. She literally doesn't give a damn about anything but her love Fiona, not even the men and women risking their lives to try and restore her kingdom or her closest childhood friend. If there was a single message I was going to take away from this manga, it's that love costs a lot, is selfish, and is completely at odds with doing anything good for anyone. In fact, I might take it so far to say that the moral of this tale is that pursuing romantic love will destroy the lives of hundreds of thousands of people. I think this series should be labeled as a tragedy -- not for the main couple, but for the kingdom of Paros. Now excuse me while I go balance this out with manga where rulers actually care about their people. I don't even need epic dedication. Just something, you know, that doesn't resemble COMPLETE AND UTTER ABANDONMENT.

Strong female lead, great supporting characters. Ermine's love interest grew in the course of the story, which was nice to see. Ermine and Yurias (protagonist and her foster brother) had a strong, platonic relationship that was lovely to read -- they didn't abandon it for the romance. The ending is a little sudden, but it does fit in with the fairy tale atmosphere.
Pretty good

I enjoyed reading this. It feels like a fairy tale to me - about a strong female princess who would rather be a prince. Even if this is a shoujo-ai, or classified as such, I feel that this could be a story for anyone's enjoyment.

The story and cast of this manga is actually quite interesting. A pity that after so much build-up, the ending of the manga is pretty much a letdown: an example of when not to use an open-ended ending. Still, it's worth reading if only for the story and the art.

Uhh... I'm confused at how to feel about this manga. I liked it, but it could be better. I'm no judge to somebody elses work, but I felt lost sometimes, beacause of the mangas pace and it felt like mangaka had so much to tell, but didn't have the time, or imagination ran rampage sometimes.
Well, I thank scanlators hard work(editing could be a pain in this one cause of complex artwork).

A good read! But not for everyone. This manga is sadly underated and overlooked. It's hard to say who this is aimed at though. And don't read it if u don't like using u're imagination when reading a story.
