2 Volumes (Complete)

Every single yaoi I've read that's geared towards music, is overly dramatic. I've never understood if it's a thing with music-plots or just a coincidence?
Can't say this manga is special. Music, uke that can't be honest with is feelings and unnecessary drama sums it up. Example of drama; uke leaves a band because he can't come clean with his feelings towards the seme. The uke decides that three words and some courage can't solve that dilemma, so he whines and leaves the band.
What I have a problem with is the rushed beginning. I wanted more depth and explanations, which came too late in my opinion.
Overall, the manga is okay, but I would probably not read it again.
Wow, people are starting to compare this to Gravitation? Lol, I can't even....
Gravitation was meant to be comedy and not be taken serious half the time. I enjoyed it, but half way I got sick of the the craziness, but still hung on on hopes the relationship would get get better. But when I read the ending, I was like WTF. And when I heard the sequel was released and skim through it, I was so mad that I sold my entire Gravitation series to the recycling bookstore. Someone got the series for cheaper because it was gone from the bookshelf the next week.
This manga Destinies Cross does have a similar concept of the lead character getting into the entertainment world, but done differently. Also this isn't comedy, but is meant to tug your heart. Company with beautiful art is a major plus. Although uke is a bit whiny, I have to defend him: What can you say when you learn about his dark past? Not going to dwell on it, and I find myself not annoyed about the uke. Maybe 'cause it totally fit her personality?
I didn't read Gravitation so I had fun reading this. The seme is simply gorgious (the art is awesome) and the uke is a whining brat (what seems not to be a problem since everybody seems to want the whining uke). I think it worths to read for the art, it's much better than Gravitation (I couldn't stand Gravitation because the ugly art).
Reading this reminds me of Yukan. I haven't read Gravitation like many would mentioned here about it. The story is OK. The guitarist is simply hot since I am weak when it comes to bishie. The uke is just so so. When it comes to art, it par above so I recommend this who eye for nice art.
This is not just another gravitation, infact it is better than Gravitation. I don't usually read Drama genre mangas but this series is great. The character's resemble Gravitation's character but the development in DC is much more better and sweeter. The first volume is all about development, drama, past and finding their selves. The 2nd volume is just sweet romance between the main characters. The outfits are freaking the same as in gravitation. Soukyou is better than Eiri Yuki, much more sweeter and less EMO LOL. I wish there was more comedy like in Gravitation and it woulda been better.
Romance concerning bands is a popular genre in yaoi titles, but Gravitation is the most well-known work, and it popularized the idea, that's why it might appear to some that this another Gravitation.
Unlike Gravitation, this does not contain the same humor as Gravitation did. Although the uke was terribly whiny that it particularly made me want to bash my head against the keyboard out of irritation. There are also difference between Gravitation and Destinies Cross, but Gravitation is better.
Pretty art and a fine plot. Well, it may resemble gravitation a bit - though Destinies Cross is a lot better in my opinion. The relationship in this story is far more equal too. A nice read.
Not to bad, the art is decent and the story is ok, although I have to point out the the main character Kazune is very irritating. While my tolerance for whiny characters can be pretty high most of the time, even I was ready to bang my head against the wall with this one.
While it is worth a read if you have time to kill, I'm afraid I must agree with ares6 at least partly about it being 'just another gravitation', only without the comedy, which is what made gravitation good in the first place.
