Meet Shooto. He's a bit vertically-challenged. He also wants to be a hero. But guess what? Midgets cant be heroes! Ha! So he becomes a villain instead. Sort of. Not really. Wait a minute here, why is he so heroic if he's supposed to be the bad guy? And what about the so-called good guys? Why are they so evil?

Oh my god, so disappointed. It was wonderful until 2nd volume where the fight in heroes conference happened. Can't stand this cliche fight where main hero keep getting punched by the bad guy without resisting although he is stronger and then bad guy says something making main hero angry and main hero defeats the bad guy in one punch.
What the fuck was good guy knocked around for? Just seems really stupid. Hate cliches like that.

its called 'superhero' manga but really it is no different than any other mecha/fighting/superpower manga, just with a different term. its a shounen with weak lead that somehow gain incredible power and have pure heart, nuff said. as generic as it is,it is very enjoyable, the comedy get me in stiches at times, especially the jackys actions. i love straightforward shounen like this, with clean art, cute characters, nice fight and a dose of comedy

the contract thingy it just retarded just .. they should just say that they will break his dolls or whatever.. and ratman.. .. that says enough..

Comedy part is good and it has a decent story to it.

Definitely a must read. The irony in the beginning is just hilarious!
There are also 2 potential love interests and the art is quite good. I can't wait for the next chapter releases that manga got me really hooked.

Wow, I read chapter 1 just now, and it seems QUITE GOOD! I don't really like the "superhero/supervillian" kind of mangas, unless the story is actually DEEP. This one isn't deep to me, but I really wanted to read it since this manga made the hero the villian! That's what hooked me in!

Shooto me in the face.
As an American, I'm tired of super hero comics. Maybe this is cool if... no, never mind.
Not the worst, but not great. Only read one chapter though.

I found the second volum of this randomly in a sydney comic book store, it was the only volum there had and it was amazing I found it as there Manga section covered the enteriety of their back wall, and loved it. I just love superhere stories which play with the normal conventions (though this is no where near the usual ulterviolence fare I'm used to, bless you Mark Millar). Aside from that I quite like know if I could only find a place to read it.

Just read the first volume of, starts off with your typical shonen want to be awesome fare. But the inclusion of superheroes/corporate spokesman makes this seem more like an American comic book rather than a Japanese manga. Enjoyed the twist of how he gets his powers. I'm willing to give this one a chance seems like it has a good future.
