Description
Beings from a different dimension have started a war with mankind. To counter this threat, an academy called "Genetics" that trains female warriors called "Pandora," who can wield special weaponry and armor, was formed. Kazuya Aoi decided to enroll in this school because of a promise with his sister, an outstanding alumna who died in battle. There he meets second year Satellizer el Bridget, nicknamed "The Untouchable Queen" due to her solitary demeanor but also top of her class whose battle simulation streak is undefeated, until he came and slowly changed her.

Just the old way to take money from us.
Spoiler (mouse over to view)
Step 1 : Try to make a 100 volumes story with only 5 volumes worth to read at the max - the rest is trash.
Step 2 : Hire an artist that draw well. With a lots exp of drawing ecchi thing. Panti flash, big boob, tsundere ...
Step 3 : Publish it => Earn $ until it's AXEd.
Step 4 : Repeat step 1 -> 3.

Endless LIM Dall-Young nonsense awaits

I stopped reading this mess after 5 (?) volumes but it is now reached 20, has 4 spin-offs and an official hentai companion series. I would like to point out that it focuses on rape which the main series misuses to high heaven too. What else is there too say besides that this is a mixture between a bad harem school life manga, a messy shonen action manga, a fetish porno with an art style that employs less variety of characters than i have fingers and is a waste of everybody´s time due to an incomprehensible plot just like the rest of Dall-Young works.
Don´t even start or you will regret it. Go for the utterly incomparable Azumi (9/10) and Claymore (8,5/10) if you want to read a series about female warriors with a real edge. Or pick up real porn that isn´t by him.
Update: I am still not reading it but the volume count went over 40 due to the spin-offs. His editors most love him.

At first, it started as ok (being distracted by oppai and panty). But as the story progresses, I notice that the guys are nothing more that useless characters. Even the hero too. I meaqn wtf! after 100 chapters the guys don't even make a progress at all? Except for the females they get to learn new stuff. Other than than i can't help myself but detect a hint of racism in all of this. Sorry but this one goes out of the window.

This manhwa isn't completely bad i just find it strange that the pandora's women who are supposed to be training to fight of some kind of alien menace are to busy being caught up in all sorts of petty love triangles instead of training to protect the world

i have read it until chapter 120, but it looks a bit awful because the pandoras who are the main topic from the start now getting useless against valkyrie. well, i think pandoras is quite good, so i feel dissapointed when gengo aoi plans about pandoras just as guinea pig and valkyrie as trump card.

(sorry my english is quite awful too -.-")

If you're familiar with the authors other work then you know what you're in for. An interesting premise with fan servicey action and a fair amount of gore. The action is the main focus and the plot does suffer from that on occasion. But really its no worse than your typical action heavy manga plot.

Also, its fine not to like it but could people at least sblock their spoilers? Several of the comments on the first page spoil it all the way up to the most recent volumes, which is shitty behaviour no matter how you feel about it.

starting good, but...

The beginning is quite good but seem like the author went wrong way after a good start. All things happen in this manga IS: girls and girls (I use the word IS because that's all). Girls troubles, fights, bickers... Boys (or girls' assistants appeared just to fulfill white papers). These girls all are fierce, even cruel. A fight can happen (almost) anywhere, anytime they have opportunity to talk with each others. It's look like they always want to show that "I am the strongest" but not to help defend the earth against alien.

Angry B**bs

Some angry girls fight each other in multiple combinations in order to save the world. They're gifted with enormous and aggressive breasts that turns fight an almost impossible task. A lot of drama and some effeminate guys complete a good story for every aficionado of ecchi battle based manga.

it was nice at first... action, fansurvice, action, complication, more action and more fansurvice....... then it just got repetative...... sadly enough it got repetative by the 3rd fight... and while it is a story about protecting the earth.... the protectors are all selfish and too many of them are forgetful of their duty to even think about why they have these abilities (that they waist on hurting fellow comrads)...... as a military member i got to say that if even one of my wingmen acted like this for one day he/she would be in jail...... in this story i would be consurned with the future of the world if it trully was in the hands of these glory hungry and childish fighters............. if your looking for a story that isnt focussed on immature reasons for fighting..... keep looking

Plenty of action, fanservice, and some controversial arcs

I'm an action junkie, so I enjoy manga where small monsters fight big monsters, then a bigger monster appears and the small monster beats him, and then an even bigger monster appears, and the small monster beats him, or loses. This is what makes shonen manga so popular - the concept that there's always someone stronger than the protagonist, and yet the protagonist will fight and win (or at least try his best to), sometimes through rock-hard determination and a little sneaky attacks, but usually through newly discovered powers. Well this isn't a shonen manga (i.e. designed for 14 year olds), but then for me, shonen plot devices are always welcome. All of these are meant to make the reader want to read more, since he's always left wondering what the protagonist will do to defeat his next seemingly invincible opponent. DBz anyone?

Freezing is packed with action, and has plenty of these shonen plot devices to make sure there's always something new to make the reader excited, which is enough to keep most action junkies satisfied. I like how the action scenes flow and are easy to follow, as well as how speed (using after-images) and strength (using minimal force to block a seemingly fatal blow) are depicted. There's a large variety of weapons, and fighter types so that some weapons/fighters are weak against specific types. This is important in any story where battles are fought - you cannot have someone that's all powerful since it would be boring; it is the weaknesses that make fighters interesting because you're left wondering how a fighter will conquer his own weakness to win the fight.

Now, men fighting men would just be too boring, so here we have hot, high school girls, in short skirts and knee socks (Yoko Ritona is just soooo hot), some with big breasts to appeal to readers who like that sort of thing, all with bigass weapons fighting giant monsters (and other hot girls), and it is rather common for clothing to be torn off during fights. Now, the scenes don't put emphasis on the clothing being ripped off, but it is just a means to show how rough the fight is. If your body is hard as steel, and someone throws a grenade at you, why should your clothing survive the explosion? There's the occasional nipple here and there, so if that offends you, don't read this. Some people are desensitized (or mature?) enough not to fixate on nipples during a fight.

And then there are the controversies, oh the controversies. There's an arc with a sadistic brother who's obsessed with his sister, and pain ensues, yet in the end there's no retribution since fraternal love conquers all. This has many people up the wall since they all wanted retribution dealt out. They believe a sadist should die, and there can be no reconciliation. Well, I'll leave you to decide what punishment a sadist, who has realized the error of his ways, deserves.

In another arc a character was tortured, and some readers believe that this torture wasn't necessary, but (in the naive antagonist's opinion) it's a great way to punish someone and leave a lasting reminder for others to obey out of fear, however (as a plot device) it's an excellent way to incite rebellion, and to invoke feelings of disgust and hatred toward the antagonist. How would you have done it differently?

Overall, if you enjoy shonen action manga, enjoy seeing anime chicks in short skirts and knee socks, and don't mind a little "high-school" romance, and some intense drama, then you should definitely give this manga a go.
