Description
High school is difficult for most kids. But for Kayano, a shy girl whose single mother seems to work all the time, it's even worse than usual. She's so afraid of drawing attention to herself that she can't tell the handsome Kamijo how much she loves him until one day she finally gets up the courage to write him a letter confessing her feelings...

This series has been adapted to Chinese live action drama under the name "Devil Beside you", starring Mike He, Rainie Yang and Kingone Wang.

you can really feel takeru's and kayano's love for each other. their relations to each other get a bit confusing later, but that just made me disregard their whole step-siblings thing.
the art turns out beautiful by the end, so that's a plus. i just have to comment on their fashion sense, though. it's a lil weird. :0 but i wouldn't mind if ppl in america actually made the jewelry that takeru wore.
a happily ever after story, if ur a phobe.

Deep plot, where you can see the effort every character makes to grow up and stand the situation. They love each other just the way they are, but since the world is a defying battle, they give their best to solve all the problems around and end up together.
I like the end! It's my favorite part! I approve Takeru's decision and I think that the mangaka gave her best here to make the plot more realistic. The final chapter is soooo cute! We can see at the end how much they grew up and improved, and kind of gives me that feeling of "Oh! I'm so proud of seeing these children growing so strong!" lolololol

don't let the begining fool you because this is one of the greatest ever! after the first volume the drawings become more beautiful with each chapter; the story line will move you and make you cry and laugh and be happy biggrin it'a masterpice that's worth readingbiggrin
i will always remember this great manga and i really like the artist's stylesmile

Ok, so when i first started to read this series i was dissapointed by the artwork but if you bare with the first volume the artwork improves and the plot really develops. I really liked the characters in this series, and i loved the ending although its a little cliché i'm a sucker for a happy ending. This series is definitly one worth rereading which says something because i very rarely reread manga.

Wow did i freak when i saw the art on the first chapter but after getting through the first volume the art is so great, so do not give up! I wanted to read this one because i had seen the drama a couple of years ago and it was really addictive and just great. I still wanted some kind of closure since the ending was sort of hanging but in the manga is beautifully completed. I really enjoy this mangakas work, so far i think this was one of the best and although the drama followed the manga there are many other things included in the manga that were out of the drama. Speaking of drama, it's not as dramatic as the series thank God.

at first i hated it cuz the art sucked but then it got better (so did the plot) i liked how they ended... It didn't leave me compleatly fullfilled .. i felt it needed a little more but maybe im just to need all around it was pretty good

I really liked the series....even though it felt kinda short (only took me a day to read).

The thing is I didn't like it because of certain things that pissed me off....especially concerning the re-marriage part and HIKARU. =((

Overall a good manga.....I don't know what rating to give this...I really loved this manga but because of the things that ticked me off...I'm giving it a lower rating than I initially wanted to...near the beginning of the series.

It would get an 8 or 9 if I wasn't ticked off!! dead

Since I watched the drama, I already knew the whole plot beforehand, so it took a little away.
Still, I enjoyed the manga. :x A lot more than the drama actually.
The art is delicious. Some of it's still kinda nasty to me, but overall, it was done incredibly well.

I freakin' loved it.

PS. Takeru based on hide?

I have read so many Shoujo before so I can tell this story wasn't any thing especial or new in comparison to other stories of this genre. it starts really good but gradually it lost its charm and made me so bored, after volume 8 I wasn't interested enough to download the rest however I came back to see the ending, lol. bigrazz now that I have seen the ending I am feeling happy but not satisfied. it was too rushed and finished so cliche.

if we ignore the art which was kind of pretty, this manga has nothing very special. definitly one of the most boring stories I have read so far. roll
