Don't judge a book by its cover

Yaoi fans may be a bit skittish to approach this title. It seems a bit too extreme to some- in all honesty, I was timid to pick this book up. In reading this, the art isn't what's important by the time you finish the first book. The characters grab you and you can't seem to put the novel down until you've read up to the latest volume you can buy. The stories are charming and it has it's tid-bits of humor here and there. The art is not all that impressive but the book will leave you thirsting for more.

This is a nice surprise. I was first put off by the art, it seemed a little... cartoon-like for my taste, but I am glad I overlooked that and gave it a chance. The story is just so interesting, the first volume is not that great a beginning, but once the second volume starts, you really do get hooked! The fact that there are different story lines is also a plus, because there is always something new going on. Overall, this is something I would recommend, and since Blu is releasing it in the US, I'm collecting. Give this a chance, you won't be disappointed. If you like Junjo Romantica, then you are going to like this series!

I admit that I avoided this title for awhile due to the unusual and, frankly, unappealing cover art (I thought the leopard looked cool but the guy just really turned me off), but when I saw all the high reviews it was getting, I decided to give it a chance. Don't let this one slip by - though the art might take a moment to get used to, the interesting and intricate plot and the characters are really something else. There aren't many manga that can really draw out emotions like this one can.

One thing I like about this manga is that it doesn't just focus on one couple. Rather, it gives an elaborate back-story to almost every character it comes across and makes the story that much more enjoyable. Give it a chance, it is really worth the time to read and reread.

I have read (purchased) vol. 1-4 and am eagerly anticipating vol. 5 ( out in May). I picked up this series b/c of the unusual plot, where else can you read about zoomanity vs. monkeys. I loved the uke from the beg. and the seme through arrogant slowly began to change and quickly grew on me.

I know other reviewers commented on the art ,I loved it. Each person is an individual and easy to tell apart.

The only trouble I had was figuring out who mothered/fathered who and the degree of feritility/power they had (the latter I blame on the chart). For example the first and main couple: the uke is a missing link who is supposed to be very fertile but according to the chart he would be the least fertile. HUH! *scratches head*

I also thought the idea of the womb worm was genius.

What an incredible story, here is something out of the ordinary....i mean it will make you go "huh", yet it is so hillarious and entertaining that you will be like oh this is great. The art is good i like sensei's works so i certainly want to read more.

I have come across the title a couple of times while searching for good yaoi to read, but never read it. The plot just looked too weird to make it a good manga. I am so glad I gave it a try! It is a wonderful manga, one of the best in its genre. A must read =^.^=

It's a really good, intriging and facinating plot! I actually didn't want to start reading it coz of the seemingly poor artwork - but the artwork grew on me and i started to appreciate it. The story's good - about relationships between "hidden animal races" who look like humans in appearance. These animal races can detect one another and these animal races are segregated into groups of varying strengths... read it to know more... it's fun and a nice change from all the usual yaoi...

It's a lot better than the description and picture imply. This is well worth the read. I put off reading it because the description didn't sound appealing and the picture made me extremely hesitant. I finally read it because it was getting such great reviews. I was pleasantly surprised. This is an interesting story and the artwork is pretty good (not great, but better than I thought it would be). I highly recommend this manga!

storyline's wonderful. it HAS a plot. and a very good one at that. the plot's unique and i believe is quite different from all the other manga out there. if your looking for something that's not just sex sex sex then you should go for this. the heavy petting throughout the story it very cute too. xD

art: just like the storyline the art is unique as well. the chibi aren't cute and wide eyed but rather..err...weird? it's different from general manga style but i think that's what makes it so great. it's very refreshing to see something different.

totally a must read!

I was taken aback by the title at first, thinking that it was just full of sex with no plot. But reality is much better: the manga has a really interesting and creative plot, lovable characters, hilarious humor, and sweet romance. Once you've got used to the art, you'll find it charming. I've read the manga thrice and still loving it!! Just thinking about the possibilities of many different couples (since there're different types of madararui) makes me thrilled~

If you wanna read something different, try this. You'll like it. Guaranteed.
