Sakurakouji Sakura is a girl who appears modest and graceful but in reality is skilled in martial arts. After witnessing a boy burning people with his blue flame, she is startled to see that the same boy is a transfer student, Oogami Rei. Oogami is a Code Breaker, one who "does not exist". He is a seemingly cold-blooded killer who follows the principle of "an eye for an eye", to "use evil against evil". Convinced that killing is not right, Sakurakouji sets out to stop him and penetrate his icy heart.

Just another manga with brute guy and whiny girl who runs around beging not to kill a person (or if you like better one loser character and one tough character), then gets herself into trouble (like 1000 others damsels in distress) and gets saved by the evil but "mysterius" guy. Sure I haven't read it till the latest volumes, but as far I had goten before droping it went the very same road as any other such brainless manga the loser somehow manages to overwhelm the tough one.
So in short - Been there done that, got my t-shirt, and don't want this one.

I like this manga and I can't wait till it starts to get deeper into the character's background, especially Sakura's and Ogami's. I think that they make a good team and kinda balance each other out. And though Sakura can be annoying at times I don't really hate her seeing as she could be worse.

hey this manga is not that bad ! I think to enjoy it really, you have to take it lightly and not seriously! I mean if you think about all of this : it is hilarous! Nyanmaru : OMFG who would dare to put something so ridiculous in a story like this... but this is what makes it hilarous! and actually Sakura is hilarous! ahaha she always tried to prevent Ogami from killing even if the guys are terrorist or what ever ! but this is hilarous !!! yeah she does it over and over again but I think it adds some fun to the story XDDD
The characters and how the mangaka makes us wait before revealing some terrible truth (ahaha) reminds me so much of samourai deeper Kyo which I enjoyed reading bigrazz
It is the same style and ingredients but aww this is not so bad since it has been a long time I haven't read samourai deeper Kyo ^^
But this time the hero (Ogami) is a bit more expressiv than Kyo ! lol

Even tough i prefer to await until volume 4 to emit a judgemente about any manga
I have to say that Code: Breaker is just another plain manga, pretty plain characters without depth so far, very predictable development , the powers and abilities are kinda overpower and the limitant are not that "B-A-D", when comparing them...
The heroine, is kinda annoying and not cute enough to feel simpathy por her...
On the other hand, if you like bishounen charas this would be your deal, the artwork is not that bad and the desing is pretty characteristic and fitting for each of them.
Action scenes are not that good neither bad, but are kinda lacking fluidity.
Plot depth is still realy shallow, with pretty much place to improve, perhaps too much.
So I should say even tough it's pretty plain and really lacks something unique to the series itself, something that amuses you or causes surprise, perhaps unexpected, the series has, as I said earlier, a lot of potential and place to improve, and I hope it does.
If you want something light to read, without a deep plot as far as it is, when I wrote this and quite a few bishounen charas, this is what you may like to read, if you really want action, or something deeper perhaps the series is still too young.

This is one great manga yea the lead heroin does get annoying at times but she also adds the comedy to it.. The lead male is very similar to Light from death note but you can say that he is much more caring... This is a great manga and a deserves a read.

This is a great manga - except for the lead heroine. She's like the Sakura of Naruto or the Orihime of Bleach. She's utterly useless despite her knowledge in martial arts and her holier-than-thou attitude is laughable. All she ever thinks about is "stopping him from killing" even when he saves her from being killed/raped.

One of the few mangas that has some awesome actions and funnier moments when it needs it.

The lead characters are very interesting, especially Ogami. He does what he feels are justified, even if they are immoral, but regardless, he's still one of the good guys.

Anyway, it's one of the few mangas that I always look forward to for an update.

Surprisingly, I found this manga pretty interesting despite the fact that I didn't like Samurai Deeper Kyo much. Ogami is a rather intriguing character since he has this "I don't care who I kill" attitude about him. He is similar to Light from DN but he doesn't seem to have any desires to rule the world or anything like that. He actually takes orders from someone else.

Sakura was an okay heroine at the beginning but now she's getting a little annoying. I really dislike preachy, pushy, nagging characters. I know she wants to change Ogami's viewpoint but seriously....I don't see how shoving the guy's face in your chest is going to instantly stop him from killing people. (Yes, yes I know she wanted him to hear her heart and make him realize that he's human but who in their right mind would think that he would suddenly break down, renounce all the 'evil' that he's done, and become some normal schoolboy?)

I do hope that Ogami stays the way he is for a while. He really makes a pretty interesting anti-hero.

Wow I'm speechless...
The main guy is kinda a fusion between Light and Kazuma from Kaze no Stigma... well that's what I think

the first chapter left me speechless...=O
the others chapters left me speechless and wanting more and more!
the guy is awesome! reminds me of Light from Deathnote.
the girl is different and not a push over and she does what she believes is right...although after a while she kinda annoys me.
the art is sooo soo good!
i also love how the concept is not Evil vs Good but Evil vs Evil.
very interesting and makes me want more...also it'll be interesting to see how the romance will deveolpe if there is any that is.

one of my favs of all time...everytime a new updates is out i'll be jumpin up and down in my seat!
