Description
Yuzuki Eba has mysteriously decided to go to high school in the countryside. But despite Haruto Kirishima's objections, she is living in his home. Now he has to put up with a freeloading city girl and even worse, make sure Nanami Kanzaki, the girl he likes, doesn't get the wrong idea!

The story’s setting is based on author Seo Kouji’s hometown.

Pretty interesting and i like the main guy too!!
But why the genre is Sports? Is it because the girls play baseball and tennis!?

i absolutely loved Suzuka and Seo Kouji is definitely one of my all time favorite mangaka's so when this came out i pounced on it. It's had a slow start so far, as is to be expected, but it's rapidly picking up and i can only hope that it is as good as if not better than Suzuka - and just as long ;D
i'm eagerly looking forward to more atm.

I love the art, and the story is cute. It's a fun read but for those who have read some of his other works... it might be too repetitive.

He always uses the same male lead archetype and female lead archetype. The story is always the same, male lead archetype ends up with female lead archetype. Though, I can see a glimmer of hope in this series. By judging how this series is going so far.. he might actually change the ending couple! Well if he doesn't it might *cough* probably not *cough* be interesting to see how he will get his archetype couple for the ending.

EDIT: This series is awesome no discussion lol.

I like this mangaka, but i dont know about this manga... first 5 chapter are very good, but the 6th... hoping this dont evolve in something like schooldays biggrin

Im really glad the mangaka SEO KOUJI made some more. I truly enjoyed the artwork and story of Suzuka and even though his art is a bit repetetive i find his story art to just flow so well.

ahh i love this manga! even though only 4 chapters have been released its addicting and a good slice of life read, its soft romance so far but i cant wait to see what happens in the next chapter!

since im a fan of seo kouji since suzuka (not so much for crossover) and this is the "prequel" for suzuka, its obvious i would want to check it out... so far with the 2 chapters, its been pretty nice and havin the romance story set up.... (i believe itll start once they go to school... which i believe should b around the next few chapters... btw... im on chapter 2 only since only 2 are out)

the only thing i dont understand is how is this teh "prequel" for suzuka when theres no character last name connection or whatsoever... guess i wont be findin it out anytime soon since it just started....

ps.. is it just me or did the characters in this manga became skinnier with longer necks and bigger heads when compare to seo kouji's other manga? (suzuka and crossover)

pps. i dont see how eba resembles honoka as you all stated... to me, she resembles miki instead 0.o...

love it. love the mangaka.
umm indeed in the second chapter it says "the prequel to suzuka" but not exactly sure how that is ever going to work out. so far it has nothing at all to do with sports. and none of the characters introduced so far appear in suzuka, although you will find the character designs to be very familiar, maybe thats what it means by prequel... except this is being written after suzuka, oh well im sure all will be made clear.
at the end of the 2nd chapter they do talk about joining clubs so maybe we will find that the club of choice is the track club. the line about it being a prequel is very much a mystery to me since it would be pretty impossible for suzuka or honoka to show up since their character designs are already the female leads.

Great manga so far. Kimi no Iru Machi seems to be a promising manga. SEO Kouji is one of my favorite manga author/artist. This manga is also a prequel to Suzuka, a popular series also made my Seo Kouji. I loved that manga but after the disappointing ending in Suzuka, I really hope this one makes up for it. So far there hasn't been any connections between Suzuka and Kimi no Iru Machi, but then again there's only 2 chapters up. I'm definitely keeping this under my radar.

i've always been a fan of his previous work, suzuka. let's see if this will turn out just as good (or maybe better?)

edit: chapter 1 is great and memorable, seo kouji is definitely the best shounen romance mangaka out there. also, don't you guys think eba is kinda like honoka while nanami resembles suzuka? will we get version 2 of suzuka here, and maybe the guy will choose the long-haired one this time? well whatever, this is definitely my current favourite. can't wait for more~!
