With two girls in them.

I'm rather sick of the usual two-guys-fighting-over-a-ditzy-stupid-girl plot, who they love because she's 'kind' and 'caring'.

So, I want a guy being fought over this time.

BUT, I don't want a bitch against the protagonist, if you get what I mean. I don't want the usual jealous, usually prettier rival, who only lasts for a few chapters, and does bad things to get her way - all that stuff.

Something like, School Days, perhaps? Basically two girls on a somewhat level playing field. Or To-LOVE-Ru, though they aren't really 'fighting' over Rito.

I could offer a lot of harem recommendations, but other than your mention of To-Love-Ru I don't think that's really what you're looking for, since they usually have a clearly planned winner from the start..

@Creshinibon: Thanks for the suggestions, I'll check them out. ^^ I've seen Watashitachi no Tamura-kun before, and I've been meaning to read it, so I'll take another look into it, I suppose.

As for Glass no Megami, I'm a little lazy, so unless I really can't find anything to read, I'll wait until it's been uploaded on something like onemanga. xD

@Sagaris: Meh, in a way, I suppose. But I'm looking for something with a little more substance, like the boy isn't just some stupid guy who has two girls fighting over him. The guy has to have a reason to have the two girls figthing over him. I'm not making sense here, am I? x3 Would Ayu Mayu be a good example? Though it's a little too harem-ish for my liking. I guess I'm looking for something like Moe Kare, but with two girls and one guy. A not-annoying guy.

You said Harem with substance. You could try Umi No Misaki. There are three girls but they are on a level playing field and it is very well written and drawn.

what genre? Most shoujo and all harem mangas have that, I would never call this in dearth requirement.
