Hey guys do any of you know of any manga where the main character starts out all weak and innocent, then becomes all powerful and badass, but instead of saving the world or the love of his life etc, goes onto to become a villian?

I'm sick of the cliche, weak boy ----> gets stronger -----> becomes all noble and heroic ----> happy ending type of story. I want something different.

Btw: I've read Death note, but maybe something similar with lots of fighting and action? Berserk kinda fills it in, but he still a good guy underneath it all.

He's not weak and innocent at the beginning and he definitely doesn't become a villain (if he thinks that Gatsu is a good guy then Munsu is a saint lol). I don't know how it can fit perfectly at all!

My suggestion would be Battle Royale since your description could kind of fit for some characters, not the main one though.

Maybe Zetman he isn't like your typical hero who saves the day.
And Priest is good as well, though it's more of a moral thing.

immortal regis, where at the end da guy bekumz like pretty damn psycho nd stuff(tries to strangle the girl he supposedly loves) and then on to the sequel cavalier of abyss, he bekumz evil, like imprisons his love etc.

Hoshi no Samidare fits in a twisted way.He is weak and becomes powerfull, but you know he is the bad guy right from de begining.

I recommend Akusaga... it's dark, the character (see my sig) is a sicko and the art is good... but the guy is strong from the beginning though...

Kuroshitsuji The main character is, well, not a very good person. But what makes him so different from a lot of main characters is that he KNOWS he is bad and has no desire or will to change his cynical way of thinking.. He also kills more than a few people without regret. Read the MANGA though, not the anime..

Ludwig Kakumei The main character is a selfish, sociapathic necrophiliac who thinks women are prettiest when they are dead.. I think that fits the criteria of a bad main.. ?

Pet Shop of Horrors This, sort of, fits the criteria. Though I hesitate to call Count D evil, his prioritis are definately messed up and he has no regret killing people.(Animals on the other hand is whole different matter..)

Zion This only has 4 chapters out, but the main character seems very cynical so far..

Olimpos Also pretty new, only three chapters, but if Apollo is the main he is not very nice. And the art is georgeus <3
