I recently read Kuroshitsuji and fell in love with the main character Ciel. I was wondering if there were more manga's with cruel/deceiving children. I know there are some with female children but I'd rather the child be male. Thanks 🙂

And no gl/bl or ecchi

Please Save My Earth

The kid is more of a well intentioned extremist though. He's one of a baddest kids I've read in shoujo manga...that I can remember.

Full Metal Alchemist

In the first anime "Wrath" counts. In the manga and anime Brotherhood Selim Bradley... There's a chance you heard of it though.

Elfen Lied has characters that verge on "creepy man child" due to their mentality and plain cruel kids. Sheesh. It's, again, well known, and it can squick someone. It's really bloody and if someone is prone to nightmares or extreme empathy they should not read or watch this.

Loveless has tons of cruel and creepy kids. Gauken Alice also counts. So does Detective Conan, but given the kids actual identity and its deliberation it's prob not what your looking for. Soul Eater has children ( preteen-16 I think -shrug-) protagonists, but they're more "mad" than downright cruel.

A known female version is Gunslinger Girls, but its close to Elfen Lied. Hope that helps.

I second Monster. Johan is extremely cruel and doesn't know the value of human life. He is extremely perceptive and manipulative that he can make a person commit suicide just by talking to them(he actually can do that!). It shows him as a child sent to become an emotionless serial killer, but was already one before he was sent! WTF! ;O

If you thought Light from Death Note was a king of manipulation, then Johan is the God!

I totally forgot about monster and please save my earth! They are perfect examples of what I'm looking for, unfortunately I already read them. But I'll go through the rest, thanks 🙂

Um, yeah, so your mileage may vary with the below recommendations. (But, regardless, I doubt anyone can top Johan in cruelty, anyhow.)

In Piano no Mori, the main protagonists begin as young children. But, both of them are not so much cruel as they are brats... and they both eventually grow up.

Zettai Karen Children's three main characters start the series as elementary schoolers. Again, they're not so much cruel as inconsiderate (and they're also females). They also grow up. There are a few instances where there are cruel/bratty males too, but they're not the main focus.

Shibatora has a lot of cruel children, considering that the manga is about a youth division detective.

Usotsuki Mi-kun to Kowareta Ma-chan Totteoki no Uso has some cruel, messed-up children (both male and female), though it's set when these children are in their teens.

Heaven's Son in the Land of the Rising Sun has a very cunning and cruel kid as one of the leads. Unfortunately there has been no news from the group that will be scanlating it (HotCakes).

Since you've already read Monster (and yes, it's hard to top Johan)... You might want to check out Kitoh Mohiro's works. He usually writes stuff about children with issues. Narutaru probably fits the bill the best.

The suggestion of Lying Mii-kun also reminded me of Aku no Hana. Again, kids with issues, lol.

Senki Senki Momotama and Vassalord.
Cruel? Maybe (depends on your definition), but definitely mischievous (momotama) and deceiving (vassalord).
Momotama may appeal to you more since the kid is protagonist (like in Kuroshitsuji).

It may not be exactly what you have been looking for, but you can give The Bride of the Water God a try, if you don't mind Manhwa?

Aside from the storyline, which gets by time messy, because of all the twists and the number of characters, the male main character changes his form. In short: By day he looks like a child and, even if he's cute then, he tends to act rather cruel, since he is not human.

Edit: 12 Nin no Yasashii Koroshiya - Leo Murder Case may also be a match. ^^"
