This is the Manga Tournament, the place where manga compete in 4 categories: Shounen, seinen, shoujo and josei.

These are the rules:

1- Manga compete against other titles from the same demographics. 2- Polls are open for 7 days, this way all MU's members can vote even if they only check the site once a week. 3- 1/3 of the manga pass to the next round. In groups from 5 to 7 titles, 2 pass; in groups with 8 or 9 titles, 3 pass. 4- No random voting.

These ones are just nominees. If this topic doesn't get much attention and I don't get at least 32 titles for one of the genres (shoujo/shounen/josei/seinen), the real tournament can't actually start.

You are right, GTO is shounen. But I think Othello is closest to being shoujou, at least, it's definitely not shounen or seinen.
