Bad title no Oh well, anyway so it's Christmas soon...And well my mother told me to list all the stuff I want, but there's a problem. I want BL manga. She already knows I like it, but it's still embarrassing to ask: Can I have yaoi? So I need a good shounen ai manga that doesn't 'Show too much' on the cover..If you get what I mean, a cover like Gravitation or something, but I also want it to be a good manga and to be available in the stores or online..Please try to help! xD

Does it need to be licensed in English? Seven Days is the best choice. Doushitemo Furetakunai is good, but maybe to explicit to buy. What about Café Latte Rhapsody? It's almost shounen-ai... Furueru Yoru no Himitsugoto is also almost shounen-ai. Katekyo!, Konbini-kun., Rin!, Wild Rock, Calling (OTSUKI Miu), Castle Mango... But I don't know if those are avaible. Isn't better if you go to Amazon under the category of yaoi mangas (if there is one) and look those with a good cover? Maybe we could help selecting some for you.

Edit:
Here, http://www.amazon.com/Yaoi-Manga-Books/b?ie=UTF8&no de=302952011, maybe we could list some of them? You see what attracts your attention and we could say if it is good or not.

Looking at all of the English yaoi manga I own I can give you a few suggestions:

Totally Captivated - it is pretty much shounen-ai.... the covers are G rated (you can get at netcomics)
Little Butterfly
Seven Days - this is a pricey set to get (the 1st volume is rare/OOP so it sometimes sells at $50.00+ and the sequel is in the 25-30 range) However, it is a MUST HAVE!
Rin!
The Betrayal Knows My Name - this I wouldn't even consider shounen-ai, however it is categorized as shounen-ai ~ so if you like magic and such.... I would go this route
Loveless - So good smile
Challengers - this is the prequel to Koisuru Boukun but it is shounen-ai. I seem to remember something about vol. 1 being quite pricy? I think it was Vol. 1 anyway. I own the whole set but I got them a while ago.

****These are manga that aren't scanlated ~ I tend to buy ones I either LOVE and MUST have or ones that aren't scanlated***
Flutter - this is a REALLY good yaoi manga and the cover isn't bad at all. It is Yaoi but it comes wrapped up ^^
Honey*Smile - Innocent cover and VERY cute stories
Storm Flower - Innocent cover and a very HOT and LOVING story!
Dog x Cat (3 Volumes) - This is a R18 story, but the covers are innocent and they come wrapped. This is the Story that Takaramono wa Hako no Naka was adapted from. Not sure if you have read it or not, but if not.... you should bigrazz

Unfortunately, after going through almost all of my yaoi manga.... those are the only ones that had covers that were innocent....

***NOTE*** Sometimes, the English versions have different covers than the Japanese versions... so you may want to look for these on Amazon to get an idea of what they would look like.

Here are some good places to look!

yaoiclub.com - they have sales all the time
amazon as dalek said
ebay for the older titles

Oops, I totally forgot about that one >.< ~ I have the manga but not the novels... I REALLY want the novels! But, YES! Only the Ring Finger Knows would be a great one! The best thing about them is they are rather cheap. Best place to find these is YaoiClub (they have a few volumes of the novel on sale now).

Just ask her for a giftcard. That's what I did. And bought whatever I wanted. LOL! The funny thing is that I went to the bookstore with my little sister, and obviously she knows I read (the whole world knows =.=) and she's the one who found all the BL and I was like omg!! When I was checking out, people were giving me the eye and I was just like mehhh whatever xD

Anyways, if you wanna buy them, my suggestion would be to buy them online. Firstly there's a lot more choices that you can order online. Secondly, you don't have to go through all the trouble to find them in the bookstores outside, cause only a few of them actually sell BL.

As for suggestions, there are some that I bought recently.
In These Words, This is absolutely AMAZING! Like my number one suggestion for something to buy at the time. I can't wait for the later volumes to come out. So good, so unpredictable, so hot...the art is dazzling!...ok I'll stop it for now.
As for the cover, it does not look yaoi in ANY WAY. I'd suggest not to open it cause ummm yeah, it's pretty steamy.
Flutter, Another yaoi with a non-yaoi-ish cover. I mean it's just two guys. No normal person would guess it's BL. It's not steamy at all! Like other works of the mangaka, normal for me. Th story-line is ok. Nothing special.
False Memories, I love the works of that mangaka so yeah. They're all cute. This one here is again another cute work of hers :3
There's nothing special inside or outside of it that would make anyone guess it's a a yaoi. So you're good to go.

These are the yaoi "manga" I bought so far, there's a whole other bunch on my list but they're yaoi "novels" biggrin

PS. I'd putting the licensed works as my priorities for now cause you can't read them unless you buy them and I'm short on money for now so yeah. I'd suggest you do the same smile

EDIT: Oops almost forgot, get Deadlock!!!! It'd be a HUGE loss if you don't. And the cover looks good too. I dunno about inside of it cause I have ti on preorder bigrazz
But GET IT! I promise you won't regret it.

I agree with AngelCharms on this one. ANYTHING by Guilt Pleasure is a must read.... Great Art.... AMAZING stories.... and the list goes on. I can say that NONE of their stuff will EVER get scanlated because it is all US based... so if you want to enjoy these stories, you will have to buy. If you want this one, you best buy it quickly because it sells so fast that it almost always sells out and has to be reprinted. You can buy the individual chapters as well! That way you don't have to wait for volume 2 (you can get up to ch 9) and the books you get are WAY bigger... so you get bigger pictures eyes I would also recommend the DJ's!

I will give you a warning... these manga aren't for the faint of heart. They aren't the mushy love types of yaoi. They contain rape and bondage.

If you want to look at Guilt Pleasures stuff -> http://www.guiltpleasure.com/

**Sorry for commenting again... I just HAD to because I never thought of listing this one bc of its contents... however, the cover is innocent**

But In These Words is a manga or a novel? I saw the preview and it was only text, but I also saw chapter 9 preview with a manga scan... I'm confused.

It is a manga. The prologue is written out like a novel, so the first 5 or so pages is text.

If it were me, and I didn't already have it, I'd ask for Heart of Thomas. This classic shounen-ai was released in English for the first time earlier this year, all three volumes in one beautiful large size hardcover edition.

If it were me, I would go with anything by Yoneda Kou, starting with Doushitemo Furetakunai (my absolute favourite)--but I guess some would say the cover is already too explicit :$ Maybe NightS? It's YAOI but the cover is not that bad, plus it comes with Kanjou Spectrum and Reply (both great stories too).

Also, dalek mentioned Only the Ring Finger Knows. I guess that's also a good choice if you're into that kind of sweet school-life tales. Sometimes a girl just needs some lovely moments like that :3 I own the manga and the novels but if I could only buy one of the two now I would go for the manga... it's always sweet.

They ALWAYS have really good sales (like up to 80% off) so keep a check on it and when a series gets older they normally put it on sale smile I bought like 4 manga from them before for like 7USD eyes
