Lets start by saying I love the art for this manga, the characters are drawn nicely and the backgrounds are pretty nice. But for the story and chars... Meh. Over the top, full of cliches, characters don't know how to communicate, predictable and totally implausible. If you manage to get over this, there are some rewarding moments, but not a whole lot and not really worth reading the whole manga for. Supporting characters are mostly redundant and not developed enough. I liked the Crown prince, but he stagnates as a character, isn't features enough, and could be completely cut out of the story. The main plot is ridiculous. Anyone who read the story will know exactly why. But hey, enough of the bad stuff, there is a certain charm here and the panels can be very lovely, and the pacing isn't too slow. Overall, not a recommendation, but not a total waste either. Maybe good for fans of Victorian age manhwa with a societal focus.

The story is delivering a nice gender bender romance in an europeanish 1880s settings. There are some plot holes and some side stories could have been handled better, but as a light reading it will suffice.

The beginning was interesting, but then the story kinda lost its spark around the middle. It dragged on for much longer than needed due to the unnecessary and rather boring conflicts. Both of the main characters were also very plain. I hate how there wasn't much character development or focus when it comes to the ml as the story pretty revolved around the fl's background; it was like he existed solely for her to have a love interest and nothing else. I don't even want to talk about the fl...the whole story was about this bish, and what change did she go through? Oh right, the only thing that changed drastically was her face after she went back to being a girl.

I suppose the problem I have with this series is that everything just feels forced? Lots of good ratings on other sites though so it looks like a majority of people would enjoy it, but this definitely isn't for me.

I got through 32 chapters. As it stands now, I'm bored. If this were real life, Elijah would have been fired as a footman. Maybe there's more to this, but if you have been training as a servant your whole life, you would not slip up so often and disrespect the people you work for. Elijah's character just doesn't make sense to me. I think I need to drop this.

I mean, if you like crossdressing/genderbend types from sort of medieval 1800s type then be my guest.

At least the male lead isn't a jerk who fools around with other women. 🤔🤷♀️
