Should have gone Yuri route

I like these characters but not who they end up with, there's just little chemistry there. And I just feel bad for Naska he deserves better. Had some really good plot though and I like the main girl.

Real but unhealthy relationships

Art is okay. Where this story shines is its portrayal of its characters and their mixed emotions and motives. You have someone that means well but does harm by being neglectful. You have someone that doesn't understand humans, but gradually begins to. You have someone who wishes she were born a man because of current society. There's more, but each character has his / her unique background and motives and opinions from that background. This includes the main character of course - she's not perfect and purposefully panders to women to stay in high society.

This is all done very well, and the overall plot of how to change the story is engaging as well.

My personal issue with this story is that no one's relationship with the female lead is very healthy. Her two closest friends still, in the end, treat her more like a pet than as an equal. All three of the main characters sincerely love the female lead but only one can "have" her, and it's kind of weird watching all four of them hang out when her three friends are more like trustworthy business partners to each other than actual friends. They're all hanging out together seemingly solely due to the female lead, and their lives all seem to revolve around the female lead for the most part too. What makes things even more awkward is all three are in love with the female lead and all three know the other two are too, so it's like some weird tug of war situation going on because all of them want her. Basically it's a harem but it's the uglier side of a harem where the female lead's everyone's savior so their lives all revolve around her and there's discord because everyone wants her for themselves.

My other complaint is that this story isn't that funny nor that touching nor that romantic. I suppose its strong point is in portraying character's complex emotions and maturity, but since that just leads to weird not the healthiest relationships I'm not as happy about that as I otherwise would be. The female lead is basically everyone's therapist.

Dropped at chapter 76 because between all the main characters being really upset they can't be the female lead's partner, the main antagonist of 76 chapters still just there to be terrible, and more political drama happening reading this was more stressful than enjoyable. And, unless the second male lead (only one to not treat her as a pet, though not like he has the healthiest love for her either) suddenly ended up with her I can't think of anything in particular I'd really be happy to read about so why continue.

One of the best Isekai's I've ever read.

Enough said. I just felt compelled to write something since someone who didn't bother reading gave it a rating of 1... out of 10... This is one of the furthest things from a 1 rating... Only reason why it's a 9/10 for me is because I would've liked to of had a

harem ending or Yuri.
But I was still pleased with the ending.

Sasha & the side characters’ relationships shine
by jingrl89

Rating: 7.0 / 10.0
Characters = 7/10
Plot = 7/10
Art = 8/10

I love how our heroine, Sasha, has super empathy and she has earned her spot in society (even without the ML’s and Rebecca’s/Crown Prince’s fiancée’s help). However since her job involves a lot of therapy wa-wa stuff and seeing nobles literally use Sasha as a punching bag, I respect the author’s choice to show us only a snippet of her ability. After that she does become quite Mary-Sue-esque since everyone just falls in love with her cuteness though.

The golden parts of this story are honestly the relationships of Sasha with the side characters, Rebecca and Naska. Both characters are severely flawed when she first meets them. To Rebecca, who is near her breaking point with jealousy & stress, Sasha is her love at first sight, a breath of fresh air. And to Naska, who doesn’t understand humanity, Sasha grows on him and becomes the reason he learns to love humanity. They have a lot of interactions as the story goes on and it is so interesting to see their POVs of the relationship. I could easily see this going the GL route or even polyamory route with how well the author fleshed out these relationships.

There is very little romance between Sasha and the ML, Arth. He’s too busy scheming to really spend time having a heart-to-heart with Sasha. I don’t think he truly knows anything about her since she never tells anyone anything. Sasha always just uses her isekai book knowledge & her charm to get what she wants. In that sense she is definitely a strong heroine, but it means that Arth doesn’t get as much time to shine. I do think Arth is as flawed as the other 2 (Rebecca & Naska) but it isn’t really shown as much since he’s basically the mastermind behind the entire plot.

And that leads me to the plot: it’s too easy. The author is even self-aware enough to say it’s too easy. Arth is way too smart and has way too much influence. He can basically do anything he wants with the empire and everyone listens to him. While I appreciate how much effort was put into the plan that made it easy for us to follow along, I wish we had more insight into Arth’s relationship with Sasha. We only get maybe one measly little panel that shows how their pasts intertwine, and that’s it. The rest of their relationship is basically Arth buying stuff for Sasha or them working together for his schemes.

I think the art is well done there are just some instances where it took me put of the story, because of chibi-ness and weird proportions. Overall the story and the characters are all beautiful.

Only a minor character does. Hence the tag. Just to clarify.

The fashion in this manhwa isn't the best, but the dresses, settings, and characters are still very colorful and vibrant. It's pleasing to the eye and remains consistent the entire time.

Okay but wow for once the MC doesn't just suddenly make a harem of her own right off the bat despite trying to avoid the crown prince/duke/whatever. She is just a minor character with lowly noble status, but she learns to survive nonetheless by kissing up to repressed noble ladies as a mobile-punching-bag/therapist/pet-dog. This is actually a very interesting dynamic to read about, since she willingly denigrates herself to people she couldn't care less about because that turns out better than marrying and having kids with some old geezer. I'm intrigued by the series.

Furthermore, the recurring characters are all very fascinating so far. I'm really enjoying the dynamics between everyone. I've read up to the latest chapter (ch. 35) and her character is developing more and more over time as she learns to actually value herself as someone deserving of unconditional love with the help of the story's villainess. Meanwhile, we also see how the villainess has to struggle with her new found sense of mental liberation from a hopeless love. I just really really enjoy the slow but steady character growth!

I disagree with @Minrei's post below....while I agree that the story skips over the details of how exactly she first earned the role of "noblewomen's pet," pieces of that past are slowly revealed over time. 11 chapters aren't enough to flesh out the characters fully; in fact the story really picks up soon after that. Give this a chance! I think this series has serious potential.

A manipulative MC with a comfortable life as a goal. LoL

MC has reincarnate as a mob character. And that her rightful place!! Because as a manipulative person, it is a suitable place to be. LoL. She can easier manipulate the main character that way.
Her way of manipulation is when she see the person in pain, she will go console them and warm them. They will open their heart to MC and yes, become her owner. LoL
I don't see manipulation MC in villainness noble girl genre much so this is kind of interesting.

I am so confused

I have read till only chap 11 (I just cannot.)

There has been some weird time jumps(?) like the story fast forwards and leaves scenarios that could have described each character, like
Spoiler (mouse over to view)
how did Rebecca get attached to her that fast, without the story showing us what the mc did to gain her favor. How Arth let down his wall and managed to feel relaxed around her to even tell her his back story. I was annoyed how the story just surprises you with the fact that he already opened up. I can't find it in me to sympathize with him now because his past was treaded as some random flashback when we're currently dealing with Arth. We don't even get to know mc, apart from she came from another world, she had initially expected to have the same experience as mcs from novels but she was crushed upon realizing oh there's a lot of pretty girls so I'm not that special, I'll just try to climb my way up by acting cutesy (which I loved the idea) but they had to ruin it with oh everyone is instantly drawn to her now? Even Rebecca who had spent her eyes looking at the prince even when he's doing such things in front of her.

I am confused. The mc is gently fading to the background characters for me. Probably due to the fact that, as of now I'm not seeing how can her character grow and nothing really is interesting about her she's just kinda our way to see the story unfold.

Spoiler (mouse over to view)
I just labeled her in my head as the pet who moved in with Rebecca after meeting each other for the second time

I know almost nothing about the characters, not even mc after 11 chaps.
I may have set my hopes up too high for those high ratings.
