I SWEAR! I WAS REALLY SURE THAT IM GOING TO RATE THIS AS 4 BC THE FIRST CHAPTER IS NOT MY CUP OF TEA, SECOND CHAPTER IS ANNOYING (suuure, testing your partner's feelings is okay ya) BUT CHAPTER 3!!! CHAPTER 3 WAS THE BOMB!!!

CHAPTER 3.5 IS ALSO CUTIE!!!

I wasn't really impressed by the first chapter. It was a bit all over the place and the internal dialog was unengaging for me. The art wasn't bad but not great either. The plot was predictable and the characters quite standard. It did have some appealing aspects like the jealous playboy Takanari and the story did get considerably better however. There was a surprisingly hot shower scene in there too and the ending was oh so romantic. So though this didn't seem very promising to begin with, it did leave me with a nice aching feeling in my chest that compels me to rate this quite favorably. I'm giving it an 8/10.

Awwn, just what I was looking for!

This has all my fetish altogether: S/M, angst, painful and slow-enough-to-be-good relationship, jealousy, possessive seme, playboy that falls in love...ahh, just my type of yaoi, and I know there are a lot of people who like the same things as me, so if you're one of them, don't miss this one!

But beware! When the first chapter was over, I thought "already? Damn, it was too quick and rushed!", but don't get yourself fooled, it's nothing like that! It just gets better and better, 'till the last chapter gives the satisfactory feeling you were seeking o being with.

Though it was a bit predictable, it did so in a pleasant way! The twists to the plot make up for it, and there are some questions left unanswered in a good way, such as: we don't really get to know if Tsuzuki was actually in love with Tomo or was helping him out by making Takanari aware of his feelings instead - play the "other guy who gets the lover jealous" 's role.

As for the characters, Tomo's nothing special, but Takanari...ohh, Takanari!! I hate to use this a rating criteria, but he's so amazingly hot I couldn't rate it low even if it sucked! But that's not the only thing amazing about him: he's also a jerk that turns into the dreamy guy! At first he's unaware of his own feelings, and that brings on the angst and the thought-to-be-everlasting angst. As he falls inescapably in love, he lets his insecurity get the best of him, which leads us to the always lovingly S/M. Then it's just a matter of time until he turns into Prince Charming himself, making the last scene in the manga totally priceless! Then, they seemingly became a vanilla couple, but for some reason, it left me the feeling that Takanari's gonna miss tyeing Tomo to the bed and won't resist it eventually (but that might just be my imagination running wild) =X

BUT I'm not saying it's flawless, because some parts could've been explored more (in short, this manga could've had the same plot, but linger and in a more developed way) and the dialogues were a bit confusing at times. But oh, who cares?! The gorgeous art makes up for the little issues there and we leave it at that! Just read it, you won't regret it!

PS: As cliché as that is, Takanari reminds me of Gravi's Yuki at parts! =O Guess it's the same sadistic expression.

PS 2: Like this? Go read Overdose. The best there is in this genre.
