Story Line Needs Something to Connect with Reader

I didn't like this one. The art was competent and sometimes interesting with all its detailed cross-hatching shading and line work in the people and it expressed emotions well, but I felt that the story line diminished the art. The point of the story was not conveyed clearly. It was lackluster in dialogue and setting I didn't feel for any character's plight, including the main character. He was just dull and flat.
