i always love this mangaka, he knows how to make interesting yet uncomplicated story, likeable cliche character but not irritating and humurous interactions between them. the art is simple, but it expressed so well what he intend. the only irk point is this manga have more than average number of boobs and buts per page, i dont remember his previous manga like this. i like ecchi, but since his characters are more cute than sexy, they are just distractions....

still, a good manga to read. try it!

So much potential

This is another one of those stories with so much potential that did very well while it went on. Then it was as though the author decided he didn't want to write more so he wrapped it up and ended it. And I do mean the Author not the publisher. You can feel it in the last couple chapters he just decides we'll end it like this.
Otherwise a fun read and short too so never hurts to give it a try. Like his other stuff he does a very good job at story telling and I personally like his art style. It's simple yet beautiful.

Refreshing throwback

This is basically the story of a boy who becomes a spirit that lives in mirrors. Though with severe limitations based around a cursed item. All of which is tied to love, the item's curse was for a lover, he's in the situation because of his love, the girl he loves is trying to save ect.

You know all those sayings about how do you judge a person's true worth ect. This manga is kinda like that. It's likeable but it also does some standard things, but it's well done.

I'm still totally recommending it. You can break this manga down to two components. The romance which is a mix of something like Kimagure Orange road, video girl Ai, gatcha gatcha ect, and the mystery of the curse.

The curse is the road that the romance goes through. It's completely integral to the story but it's just the vehicle. You can break it down to 40/60, with the 40 being the story being about a cursed item. But you'll enjoy this vastly more if you like shounen romances, especially the ones before 2000. The hero is really normal but not weak, or into anime ect.

The girls are beautiful, and the art reminds me of Ichigo 100%. The main two fit a certain type but they're also normal. There are other pretty girls around but they're just friends(all the girls are a group of friends). There's no game type of inspiration. The closest you get is that one is scared of the supernatural after getting freaked out, and the other is more scientific and delivers a good skeleton's have no muscles joke about spirits(I liked her other point too).

I imagine it was hard to come up with plots to this story. This doesn't become a story about schooldays, and mostly focuses on moving the plot forward. He made the story short, that seems like a conscious decision to me.

I think this manga has charm. It's refreshing because not too many are done like this, even though some aspects are standard.

Finally a series Kano sensei managed to end properly

Don't listen to what people say: this manga wasn't axed, on the contrary it ended properly and Kano couldn't do a better job about the ending since there isn't really much more to add to the story than what you can see by reading it.

Also, don't be fooled by the chapter numbers: the story ends at chapter 28.
chapter 29 (the one set in the beach) is just an extra and wasn't even released in the last volume.

The ending is good

It have already made the perfect conclusion in itself unless you're expecting it the wrong way.

If you're expecting an ending like "everybody lives happily ever after" then you'll be disappointed.
The story isn't about love or about will they ended up together or not.
The point of the story is about the main protagonist was being an indecisive coward at the start.
And at the end, he made is resolve to be courageous.

Romantic story doesn't always have to end with telling you that they will go out with each other.
You can look at Boys Be, Salad Days, Byousoku 5cm and many other series as examples.

The last chapter ( chapter 29 ) is also nice. I know the chapter is nonsense. But it's there to tell you that "Chapter 28 was the end, and it's intended to be ended like that so there won't be any story after chapter 28."
And that's why it's there.

Once again Kano's work was axed.
I'd been following this series since it was announced and was looking forward to the creator of Mx0's new work (I still haven't read Pretty Face).
This series was good at first. I feel that the base idea [and a later twist] could've gone pretty far, at one point i would have rated it an 8. But about halfway through you can tell that it had been axed. and there were large troughs in quality.

This was such a good Manga! But really? That ending? Not satisfying in the least. It would have been better if he just ended it on the second to last chapter and have her accept his feelings rather than give us that piece of crap last chapter.

Don't get me wrong, the last chapter was fine, if it were a stand alone or had been featured earlier in the manga, but as an ending it was just terrible.

Yeah I agree with the others with the axed ending. It's true that Yasuhiro sensei's mangas are quite readable but again with a shitty conclusion. We didn't have an answer of any question so i promised myself that i will never read again yasuhiro sensei's work until it ends without haste.

It wasn't terrible, but it wasn't really too engrossing and managed to move the plot an inch in 25 chapters. And any following arcs wouldn't really be too interesting... too much focus on the mirror. A decent read, just not great.

Disappointing good manga

here another axed manga.
I really likes kano yasuhiro sensei's manga, but i dunno why it's always get rushed ending, ex. Mx0. this is another example.

it start as something mild and get a little more complicated as it goes. But the most regretting thing is that it end in a disappointing ways, that is when i get attach to it and thought it will continue longer.

huff... i hope this'll be the last time it's happen to kano sensei manga.
