High school is difficult for most kids. But for Kayano, a shy girl whose single mother seems to work all the time, it's even worse than usual. She's so afraid of drawing attention to herself that she can't tell the handsome Kamijo how much she loves him until one day she finally gets up the courage to write him a letter confessing her feelings.
When she goes to give him the letter all her plans go awry. She's given the letter to the wrong person! Accidentally, she's given her love letter to Takeru Edogawa who just so happens to be the school principal's son, head of the delinquents and the notorious "Prince of Attraction"! To Kayano, he seems like Satan himself. Not only is he devilishly handsome, but he seems to take the utmost pleasure in making her suffer. Things only get more interesting when Kayano's mother comes home one day and announces she's getting married again --- To principal Edogawa! What will Kayano do when she has to live with this devil 24/7? How will she cope with her literal "Hell on Earth"?

I was underwhelmed

Given all the high ratings this series got I was hoping for something special, but in the end it's just another generic shoujo romance that is *extremely* cliche-ridden. Just about every single cliche of the genre is represented here.

The series isn't really bad, it's just that it feels like I've read the same story a dozen times already. Also I didn't care for the art style.

This is one of the best mangas i've ever read, i loved the characters and the punk style at the beggining, though the style changes till the end of the manga. I love how they go evolving in their relationship. Just before the end of the manga i just wanna kill Takeru, but that changes at the end. I hate those " 10 years later" or something like that, i don't know why, may be i just love too much the details. I think the long of this series is good, more would hacve been too much and shorter would have left audience with a poor feeling. The only thing that i would've liked would have been to know what happened next, when they live together as a family, but, again, that's just me XP.

I've read this series five times, and I still keep coming back for more. The story makes me squee, the art makes me want to glomp someone, and Takeru makes me wish he was real. biggrin

It was good in the beginning but then it kind of became boring as I was reading the volumes. It had so much potential to be a really good manga; the art was good, the characters were alright but It felt like the story went no where and I could tell that the artist didn't know where the story was going as well.

On the plus side, like I said the art was good, imo. The character Takeru was developed very well..and his personality was funny in the way he carried himself.

The characters were well-drawn and the story went about smoothly. I'd recommend it. smile

This manga was a lot better, in my opinion, than the drama. It didn't make the main character seem as weak. She grew a lot through out the story, and she wasn't just weak, but she was merely just too nice. Some how I felt the story was really typical, and very predictable, but for the oddest reasons it kept me addicted until the end.

uh the characters are so poorly drawn in my opinion like their clothes... I don't know about the plot but for me if the art isn't good, then I wouldn't read it.

The ending was good though. I liked the ending a lot. (I skipped the whole story. I just read the last 3 chapters -.-)

The characters are well developed especially Takeru. In this manga, Takeru was first shown as a bully and a very spoiled brat. However behind those attitudes lie a very deep reason why he is like that and such. As the story goes further, we see Takeru's dark sides and how will he overcome it of course with the help of our main character, Kayano. Kayano is very typical high school girl (a transparent one with her feelings you can say). But no matter how transparent she is, she is only Takeru's weakness. Because of her, Takeru knows how to break down at times when he really needs too. Takeru only shows his softer side to her. Wow, see how love can be a very very great thing? LoL

Anwyay, love progress in this manga is excellent too. We see the couple's jealousy at sometimes whenever they worry that one might have been taken away from the other (stuff like that). and we also see how they make up right away once their struggles have been talked over.

Character Design. Oh Gotta love the character designs in here. I really liked how Takeru is drawn with his spiky hair. It shows more of his gangster attitude. Oh i like him too when he wears glasses. (thought he was hot looking like that) lol

So If you guys enjoy a "bully love", drama at times, romance with see-through emotions, here's a manga for you to readsmile
