Description

This is actually painful to read because it is so poorly written. The ML is irredeemable. The FL is an idiot for giving him a chance after all he put her through.

Reading to 24 chapters and I’m out. Seriously who wrote this? Is this supposed to be entertainment to allow readers to enjoy reading? I don’t think so. Who the fck wrote this shit?? This is literally a shitshow of trauma porn. There is nothing good about this story and I’m genuinely appalled to see this licensed on so many English sites. The story rating is negative infinity. The art is meh. The spoilers don’t help much except for giving me reasons and convincing me that I should not read this nonsense lest I lose my brain cells more than I already have

I forced myself to read the full season, just in case some miracle happened, but no. This is absolute trash, the female lead went through an hell of a life because of the male lead and without any logical explanation or common sense decides to give him a chance??

He sold her as a slave at the age of 13, where she was physically abused everyday for 5 years, and then she was forced to fight and kill in order to survive, and then when they meet up again... He did not recognize her and raped her... And also killed her best friend to "find her"... And she still decides to give him a chance at love...

**Dropped at chapter 23 because the last straw for me was

When the writer puts in a female antagonist for some stupid reason along with.... “Why won’t anyone be real with me?” As just before she beats and fires a maid for being real with her... My god there can only be so much wrong with a story before people lose interest in reading it.

This has to be the most abusive and unlikable or redeeming male leads I've ever read in a story! It's amazing thinking to myself that someone is getting payed to write/draw this trash.

Male leads sells female lead as a SLAVE to a female noble full knowing that THAT female noble would abuse the female lead. Male lead kills the only friend the female lead had while she was a slave. Reunites with the female lead from a noble selling her to him only to RAPE her while not recognizing her at first sight. I mean... common! For fuck sake! She has the same old scars and everything! Male lead doesn't seem all that apologetic about it after he reunites with the female lead. Writer then introduces a female antagonist for our female lead. Why though? Who ask for this? There are plenty of things the writer could've done... I hope to inform people of how trash this series is before they try and get into it...

I would say I'll check by once there are 60 or so chapters to see if our female lead had/has a new lover and is making marry for once... But I doubt that since this writer will probably make the male lead a 'redeeming' ark or something stupid that, to me at least wouldn't work as an excuse to how bad of a male lead he is.

EDIT: (4/11/2021) I really shouldn't have bothered to come back to check. It's appalling to see this series get over 76+ chapters. With the The Abandoned Empress came to an end I was wondering how this series was coming along and to my suspicion I was right to drop it when I did.

Just glancing through a few of the recent chapters the story is a giant fucking mess. Why the fuck do writers think trauma is a light topic that can be forgotten about so easily? What I blanked out on not writing in my earlier spoiler was that she had her scars magically healed. You know how pissed off I was from that? Just because it's not visibly there doesn't mean it's gone. Fuck this series and all those who like it. How do people enjoy such mind numbing things?
