Description

While being an almighty Immortal seems great, it really wasn't for Ylledia. Escaping death meant witnessing the end of the world over and over again. Overall the story was good and had good word building but i can't get over the fact how their was an afterlife??

The entire story was about an immortal character and you had immortal characters wanting to die so WHAT DO YOU MEAN THEIR'S AN AFTERLIFE?? DIED JUST TO LIVE AGAIN?

This after life was implied (spoilers) after Lorem died and runs to his father figure which is such a touching moment cause I know this boy hasnt felt happy a lot nd missed him so much but it really doesn't make sense. I feel like they only did that cause they know how bad Lorem was done cause what do you mean he was an orphan and then adopted and abused and when we finally finds some sort of happiness or was convinced to have a goal apart from survival it was 1) Because of someone that didnt actually want to talk to him and was asked by someone and 2) a different character (father figure) that dies the very next chapter?? this man has felt a WEEK of happiness max in his entire life

After that he works with the main group who defo did not treat him like that much of a friend and he's definitely still hung up on his dad cause he was still sending letters to him even when hes dead. He's still helping them working as being a spy so literally lying on the daily even in his personal life that's got to take a toll 😞 He was genuinely not accepted by anyone and honestly thats why his death actually hit so hard cause I know noone really mourned him they they should have like he PUT. IN. WORK.

Like trust I loved the little sister that died and everything but like I know she had a happy life this guy? Lord he barely got past the point on living and not just surviving it just feels so unjustified 😔

A lot of plot holes

I'm so mixed on this series because the lore of the world, the characters, the setting are really enjoyable. But...there are so many lapses in logic that the plot is basically all holes. Not just the main plot, but even the mini-story arcs. People be constantly acting contrary to their best interests, thinking it makes sense.

The story started to feel a bit rushed in season 2, and now I'm up to Ch 72 and things are moving too fast, people be switching opinions too easily, and a whole lot of assumptions about "how the world works" are being acted upon as if it's fact. Really disappointing.
The beginning when the mystery was built up was the series at its best.

Update: Finished everything. I can't really recommend this story. The beginning was SO GOOD, but by the end the story was so fast and chaotic that I was left feeling unfulfilled. Big bummer.
