Mhhhh Love Hina ?! Yes there is the story of the women's dorm but .... No I think it's a mix between Ichigo 100% and some Adachi's mangas, from where it takes some behaviors and emotive scenes.
And, like someone else says, you can't get suzuka out of your mind for some strange reason!
Excellent if you read it with "Fisherman's Woman"(Emiliana Torrini) or "O"(Damien Rice) album in background.

saying this is a great series is probably an understatement.

this is a wicked series, one of the best i've seen recently. the characters are realistic and well-portrayed, the story moves along at a good pace.the romance isn't over-the-top, and the sporting action is very good. one can sympathise with and relate to the emotions, feelings and reactions of the main character due to its very accurate portrayal of school scenarios. all in all a close-to-perfect shonen manga.

i don't know why people have said this is like love hina - when watching the anime anyway, the feeling is totally different. i have read the love hina manga and watched the anime quite a few times and i did not even get the idea of a relation until i saw it mentioned here. in technical terms the scenario is the somewhat similar, but when watching the anime anyway it doesn't feel at all even close.

and finally, i don't know why everyone is calling the main character yamoto 'stupid', 'a retard' and 'a loser'. i completely disagree - in fact, this was one of the first series (in anime anyway) that i was thinking the main character is not the stereotypical loser of romance mangas - he is good-looking, athletic and pretty popular. its very refreshing to have a character liek this for a change - the almost exact opposite of the loser that the comments here describe.

this series is definately worth the 10/10 i give it. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED

I can't get suzuka out of my mind for some strange reason. I started with the anime and liked it a lot, but the ending felt like it left a lot of things unanswered for some strange reason. so i picked up the manga and read the whole thing till date and now I can't stop thinking about it.....must be losing it

its a good manga! nice character depth, good story though kinda typical, excellent ecchi scenes ^_^

but i cant help shaking off the Love Hina "rip off" feeling....

-guy moves in to a girls only house thing
-guy is a retard
-guy loves girl instantly
-theres a young loli girl who loves the main guy
-older "experienced" girl living in the dorm thingy
-guy is related to the lady who runs the place
-both main girl and main guy have a similar "goal"

and so on and so forth...

but i still like it more than love hina..more realistic and less insane (koalla)..

the art is nice/ the female characters are well done, but almost all the main characters seem retarded. you might have a hard time reading it if you dont have a vagina. Its the manga equivalent of tv shows like one tree hill

if you hated the main female character in this one, you should check out Tenjou Tenge's main male lead, its infuriating how all the others fall for such a loser who doesn't seem to get much better, if at all xD

Just loved Suzuka, it's just my kind of manga... The story is cool and flows nicely all along.. Akitsuki is not THAT dumb, hahaha... Suzuka's personality doesn't help much either ><...
