Disgustingly cliche. The female MC's life revolves around the male MC and nothing else exists outside of him. FMC is shallow and vain, and her affections for male MC seems to be motivated simply because he's attractive, cold and smart (oh and he's her childhood best friend because reasons). FMC is described as unattractive, overweight and an academic failure. However my issue lies in her shallow reasons for aspiring change. She wants to become someone worthy of his attention, not for her own benefit. Were it not for male MC (the exchange student), she would've lived with the status quo (albeit miserably). The manhua fails to explain why this male MC is a likable character and why he is even worthy of the FMC's attention.
