Description

I've read all the way to Arc 13. Yes.. i've read to the latest chapter and of course its in Japanese.
This is the story of a man who got transfered to another world and follow the general idea of 「what'll you do as a modern day human when you suddenly transferred to fantasy-world while you got blessed by godly power/abilities」.

He isn't a Hero who got summoned specially to fight Demons, he's just a passerby.
Well.. actually he's not too OP from the start. His only abilities are game-like interfaces (no one in this story's world has it) and adaptative power (he got Skills by learning how the Skill works or by getting hit with skills, a harder version of Re:Monster's MC's).
He's just 'happened' get transfered to some place with tons of high-level enemies and 'accidentally' wiped them all for curiosity's sake. Thus, he got tons of items and exp so he leveled like crazy. Exceeding the real Hero of that world's level or even the demon lords'.

But wait.. Rather than flaunting his OP abilities so he can get praised or even hailed as Hero by people around him or go around the world collecting girls/ladies so he can fondle them every-fokin-time, he choose to go adventure, go around collecting informations, doing some bad-ass things, getting new acquaintances, enjoying the world, cooking to re-create his own world's food (mainly Japanese's food) from the scratch, improving his OP power so he wont get people around him hurt by that world's enemies (demons/demon lords), raising his companions so when he's not in that world again they can at least stand againts their enemies, etc.

I love stories like that. No pathethic MC, no big-headed MC, no selfish-bastard MC, he's gentleman, not overly pervert who touch girls/women needlessly, hold dear his companions/acquaintances, and so on which made him like a saint. Well.. litteraly got the title.. lol
The author use some type of transferred to another world. Those who're reincarnated (like Mushoku Tensei or Re:Monster' MC), and Those who're summoned (Tate Yuusha or Konjiki Word Master). So yes.. there're many people that got transfered to that world. Each of them has different stories which get exploited later.

There are plots for those who're looking for plots. but if you expecting a 「the MC got defeated then doing some training to kick his enemy's ass for tens of chapter worth of training but eventually got his ass kicked again by his next enemy then repeat that to eternity」's plot, please look somewhere else. And they're not 'big plot' either.
If you look for tons of ecchi, too bad, dude. there're so few ecchi's scene in the story. no.. im not saying there's no ecchi.. just a few..
And if you saying he doesnt have goals, are you sure we read the same story? it's mentioned many time in the story, you know.

In the end, I think this story focused heavily on MC's adventure, his socializing into the world, how OP (bad-ass) he's, and especially, how people around him thinks (from another character's POV) about their situations.
Ohh.. about his Harem (for you harem's lovers), they're not only little girls/lolis. Though his travel companions are indeed little girls and a girl.
Girl? Yes.. Girls. He's in a body of 15year old boy. So what wrong with getting love interest from 12year girls from that world's POV? and dont worry.. he got love interest from those older than him too. I love lolis, but too much lolis isnt good either.
For me, this one got normal story (it's just a hyped "harem in another world"'s story, duh) but good at delivering them,
Good romance (sweet but not overly sweet),
Good jokes too (damn, that "wagahai-kun" is really good),
Some heart-warming scene,
Nice bad-ass scene too.

Sry for typo, or bad English. not my main or even secondary language. i can read English better than Japanese, though.

well,
if you looking for one of this (mass-product) novel where the protagonist always win after 10 chapters of fighting where he almost die but finish without a scratch and repeat that after 5 chapters of recovery against someone more powerful,
you can continue to look, because you won't find that here.
of course they is some fighting, but, because he kill a god in chapter 01, he can extremely easily win against about anythings else.
the novel is more focus on the story : how the character interact with the world, is understanding of the law and the history of this world.
the universe of this novel use precise rule and law that most story miss, but the protagonist do not recherche them.

Everyday life of a person transported to a game

Title pretty much sums up the plot of this LN.

Satou travels around in the game world solving problems and eliminating demons, evil plots and corrupt officials as well as bring his harem to grind for exp and level up. He normally goes by the name of Satou however he has a couple of aliases he'd use to disguise himself especially for when involved in major demon plots since he is quite overpowered and wants to avoid garnering too much attention as Satou. There is technically a main storyline however the side tracking is predominant in this LN and up till the 10th volume, little progress is made on the plot of demons, gods and other transported heroes/humans. Too much time spend on "side quests", "sight-seeing" and "improving the lives of less fortunate settlers/villages" in addition to the countless "cooking & tea time" scenes as well as some focus on the lackluster crafting system for gear and magic(it had potential however author did not expand much on crafting aspect which end up being a case where the MC just pulls OP crafted items out of his ass, no concrete explanation or backstory). So its no wonder nothing much gets done in terms of the main storyline.

Of course nothing is complete without the sideline of picking up a harem of mostly loli girls(to his chagrin) ranging from reincarnated person to beast girls to elves and even homunculus etc. Along the way he gets acquainted with and captured the heart of a few other female heroines though they end up not travelling with him. He does visit and keep in touch. Although he has a troupe of lolis travelling with him most of the time, aside for party grind arcs and tea time/cooking scenes, most of the screentime is on him acting alone as himself or in his various aliases while his harem is somewhere on standby.

What separates this LN from others is how much freedom the MC can afford. He is not tied down by heavy responsibilities nor has any obligations forced upon him like saving the world or being used by others etc. He just do what he wants, hence the slice of life theme.

Pretty mundane story and again its more of a slice of life, nevertheless a reasonable read if you got nothing else to do.

TLDR; Too much slice of life theme and side tracking, too little actual adventuring and advancing main plot.

"The legendary aerial fortress isn't it?"
The three people who've stopped the chanting let out voices of shocks.
The great monstrous fish, despite the somewhat silly name, it's a level 97 monster.
From the summoning circle that hasn't disappeared even after the summoning is over, great monstrous fish begins appearing one after another. Including the first one, there are seven of them.
I see, you guys are my death huh.
Hey, Parion-san. Your world is too hard y'know.
(POV: Hayato, Saga Empire's hero)

A whale?
It's flying in the air, and about 300 meters big, but it's unmistakably a whale. I don't think even the blue whale grows this big though?
The monster's name seems to be Great Monstrous Fish.
The hero and his companions look surprised.
Of course they would be.
I mean, when it's that big, I can't imagine just how many meals you can make from it.
If I seriously make yamatoni from it, I wonder how many I could make?
I had almost danced in joy reflexively, but it wasn't only one.
There are another six of it coming out of the summoning circle, terrific.
I've waited more after that, but it seems to be the end. There may be more coming out, so I'll stop myself from destroying the magic circle.

Yes. It has no actual plot. There are some fights and stuff, but it really is just following daily life of this OP character. It has almost no tension.
It's best to treat this series as a lighthearted adventure.

The only complain is just the number of loli. (Although the MC himself prefer big breasted girls. haha)

Great Slice of Life LN

This is not your usual Mangatheme!
It is a slow paced LN which describes details about the world the mc is transported to.
I do not understand the shounen tag for it but slice of life fits it perfectly.

Keep this in mind when reading.
You wont find epic battles. (As far as i have read 6 -33)
But you will find a ridiclous strong MC, who was a normal person and is now put into a different world with the aim to travel back to his own world.

He wants to explore the world around and enjoy it to his tastes.
He is a likeable but "normal" character. He mostly thinks about himself and his own convience.
He is still a nice guy who doesnt like injustice happening right in front of him.
He saves some slavegirls because it happened right in front of him.
He keeps his power hidden so that he doesnt get bothered by nobles and other people with the task of rescuing the world or abusing him in their politics.

About his sexual preferences; Most of his "harem" is at the age of 8-11 and even the older girls so far are still children in his eyes. Even though the MC is in the body of a 15 year old he was once a working member of society at the age of his mid 20s. As you might have noticed theres quite the age gap and to me its not that surprising that his harem is still untouched.

I gave it a 9/10.
I like the exploration of the LN; its about the world, how it works, what you can find in it, how the people interact with each other, that there is discrimination between the different races.

Its a lovely slow paced story.

The only complain i have is the lack of a "real" plot.
The MC wants to leave the world but its never told why he has the ambition to return to his own world. Maybe its such a basic desire for the author that he doesnt feel the need to explain it.
Living as a powerful being in a different world exploring it to its fullest seems like a pretty cool way to live one's life even though you might not be able to see your family and friends again.

Don't read it expecting an epic tale of Good against Evil, this is a slice of life of a magician gourmet traveling with his harem (more like a troupe of servants/friends than a harem actually) around the world.
Really, it's a just a story of a man transported in an alternate world wandering around and helping people when possible. The MC is interesting because he tries to be as low-profile as possible and play it the clever way, while having a lot of powers.
And for once side characters are actually developed, which helps a lot to make the story alluring.
Also, the adult stuff is really mild (in fact it's mainly used by one perverted character as a running gag), which I appreciate, as often it's badly done in LN/WN.

So to sum up things, this is one of the best in the "transported" category, mainly because of the MC, and the characters developed besides him.

Since I discovered this novel, I read it again and again. The OP MC is taking the adventure as a holiday from his work. He taking a world tour for sightseing while fighting demon in the shadow.

He simply doesn't want to be know as an hero since it will make him more trouble than benefit.

The point of view writing style is great. I enjoy it a lot. It give another perspective of each event. Don't pass on the bonus chapter. Most of them are great and add to the background story.

Just take this novel as a diary of a japanese tourist taking day off work exploring a new world.

Great slice of life LN

If your into 'slice of life in fantasy' this is definitely for you, the MC is Massively OP, level 310, enough to retain the soft happy feeling of day to day life in a fantasy world with his Harem.

He's not the Main HERO or an Anti-Hero.
His Goal? to go sightseeing this new world ...it's a new take from the other Summoned/Transfer/Resurrection LNs,

specially cause the world he went to there are other People that got Transferred and Resurrected.
