Lilim Kiss

Description

Saiki Takaya, a guy who is easily misunderstood, one day finds a flask containing the succubus Lilim. She is very attractive but, she also has the tendency to drain the life force out of people. She surprises the life out of him (literally) when she kisses him unconscious. Lilim then flies off for more "food," but returns later, saying that Takaya's life-energy was the "tastiest." From then, Lilim is accepted by Takaya's parents as a live-in girlfriend of sorts, and Takaya's heart seems to start wavering towards this voluptuous devil.

Unique protagonist for a shounen romance

Good artwork defintely with a strong likeable smart gud lukn protagonist which is rarely found in shounen romance manga sets dis apart from otha ones. The heroine is unique as well and damn sexy. The ending was k but seemed rushed, like everything happened pretty fast last three or four chapters which was disappointing. Nevertheless a good read.

This was fun to read and was funny. Every character that enters add to the conflict but makes it more interesting. I didn't like the ending but i won't ruin it.

the characters reactions are a bit unrealistic, but i really did enjoy the read. id recommend to read this one, its not very long and it actually ends, i like to add this because i hate mangas that just stop and never have a clearish end.

Light-hearted Fun

Don't take it too seriously, and you'll find this is a great read. The characters are a bit shallow, the plot is simple and predictable, and it seems to rely too much on pantsu in lieu of substance. But! The characters are lovable, the plot is the ever-classic "love conquers all"-type, and hell, what guy doesn't enjoy seeing pantsu and boobs?

It ended happy, and I wasn't constantly raging while simultaneously cursing it for being so good (coughIchigo 100%cough), so that's something. Maybe not as memorable as other titles, but thoroughly enjoyable, and short enough to definitely be worth the time.

Very long while since I last read a good manga that had fantasy in it.. It was also nice that the main character wasn't the usual ones that we often see as another average guy that anyone wouldn't notice until you get to see their good points. Saiki here was good looking as well as well performing in academics yet, he is not perfect and that flaw within him makes him interesting as well as how he deals with the things as the the story goes.

"You realize the value of those precious to you once they are no longer there.." wasn't really as emphasized as it could've been implied but, everything working out alright is always what anybody would want.

even though i'm a girl and this is supposedly a 'shounen' manga, i still like it quite abit ^^ for one, i'm SO GLAD the hero isn't a scrawny wimpy little twirp. instead he's hot and hunky YAY. and lilim-chan is SO adorable, lovable and totally sexy, more so than many of the airheaded 'shoujo' heroines, so cheers for that ^o^ and i agree with the rest, there could have been more. pity =/

This manga was one of my top favorites due mainly to the fact that it combines so many great elements. It has the large doses of comedic and ecchi situations, but it also has a few truly awe-inspiring scenes that tug at your heartstrings. But sadly, as almost everyone else has stated, it was cut way to short. I would have even liked if they had only stretched it out two more volumes, just to really get the story going.

one of the many books the really touch my heart but to bad it was too short it would be much better if the author make some more of this book it is ready a good book the ending was very sad and it bring me to tears that it was the end but i have a feeling that this ending was just a beginning of this amazing book

A few flaws, but enjoyable nonetheless

This is a short, highly enjoyable manga that fans of romantic comedies should be sure to pick up. It has a good, if cliched plot, a nice bit of character development for such a short work, and Lilim herself is adorable.

That's not to say it's perfect. I found the artwork fairly average (even the leads, which are usually given the most attention in these type of things), the characters were fairly stereotypical, and the ending seems to be of the "love it" or "hate it" variety (personally, I thought it was fairly decent, but I can see why others didn't care for it).

Overall though, these are minor quibbles and don't detract for the enjoyment. The story has a lot of heart, and is a fun ride while it lasts.
