The legendary jjang, or top school fighter, The Red Lion, has disappeared. She has made a contract with her mother to be a normal high school girl! Hilarity ensues when she meets her new domineering classmates, and new friends.
7 Volumes (Complete)

Entertaining read. It was good that it was only 7 volumes which is pretty average for a manhwa/manga. Overall the guys attracted me more than the female. Frankly, it was a love SQUARE with the main girl in the middle. I expected more of a fight between the 4 guys who were in love with eisul, but from the beginning it was obvious who was going to end up with who. It was shaky in some parts, but I was disappointed with the repeating fight moves that were drawn. Overall it was a bit better than average.
Well i pretty much like it the story was good but the author did not explain some stuff was confusing and it was too fast the ending did not look liike an ending and a wnted too see more the new story jejeje kind of like the fealing of [m]Angel Densetsu [m] really a good manga
The manwha was good, and I liked it, but there was nothing about it to get attached to. I mean, the artist had a potentially good plot, but she constantly just let things blow over, only to never show up again. Also, it was pretty predictable, but in an enjoyable way.
At certain points during the story, you feel like you might be going somewhere and you start to get excited. But just as you do, it gets resolved in less than 10 pages and then disappears forever. Or, if you're lucky, it gets referenced to at some random point later on. A lot of the potentially intereting characters who could have advanced the plot a little more (and made it way more exciting), had nothing told about them. They were brought out for a breif interlude, and, as soon as you begin to take an interest in them, the artist takes them and packs them away, leaving you wondering and hoping.
At the most excitable parts of the series, the biggest reaction I could ever actually get out of myself was "Hmm. That's interesting" Even when it ended the only thing I really had to say about it was along the lines of "Oh? I guess it's over now."
My advice to you is this: If you're looking for a manwha that will grab you, keep you at the edge of your seat, and take you to hell and back, Keep Looking. But if you're looking for a good time waster, something that's easy to read and enjoyable without the sometimes bothersome attachment that often comes with mangas and manwhas, then sit back, relax, and read Red Lion.
To sum up this manwha in one word: LUKEWARM
I liked it, but I didn't get attached. I mean it had potential, but mangaka didn't really manage to capture me as a reader. I had to push myself to finish it...
Well it's a different shoujo(that's good), but it deffinetly loses points in comparison to other works with a strong heroine as the lead.
Average in action, romance and storytelling. 7- is as much as it deserves maximum.
Red Lion is one of those nice, pass the time and relax manhwas.
I really enjoyed this manhwa, for the laughs and for the lessons.
Bada might have seemed like she was just like any girl, because, in fact, she was.
She didn't want to fight in the first place. She got stuck fighting, she didn't do it on purpose.
It seemed to remind me of Hot Blooded Women a bit, with the whole 'girl tougher than everybody' part, whereas there wasn't much difference, except both loves began as enemies.
I can't talk about the whole story because honestly, I did not read it all. Why? It was so bad I had to drop it.
Let's start with the main character. I hate her. Now, the feminists out there are probably all ready to jump on me, but let me make one thing clear: I like girls who are athletic both in real life and fiction. Girls who kick *** and take names are an important sub-group of athletes. The problem is that the character doesn't seem to fit that role. The whole time, I felt like something was OFF with her (more explanation follows). The author just did not know how to portray that kind of girl effectively. It's a problem with many actresses too -- they just cannot deliver in that sort of role.
Basically, compared to, say, Deunan Knute from the Appleseed manga, the female lead of this story seems like a cheap knock-off, a shoujo heroine immitating a bishounen with an attitude (rather than a REAL fighter). How lame. But, I guess that's the difference a better author makes -- with Deunan, I felt like she could enter a testosterone pissing contest with the men and yet you'd know she's a woman the entire time and nobody would think twice about it or hold it against her; the rare type who could be manly and yet still be feminine.
And then the story... I was glad that she stood up for that girl in the beginning, but then her parents give her shit and don't listen to her? Because she's caused trouble before? But they don't treat her like you'd treat a delinquent as you might expect. "Go act girlish and find a cute guy or else." It was nothing more than an artificial plot device.
The manhwa ended faster than I expected -- and it seemed that the ending was a bit abrupt but other than that -- it was good!
It was a cute and fun story --
I really liked the main girl character - she kicks ass! (literally and figuratively)
greeaat! i loved this =) now only if there were a few more chapters thhheeennn it would be better. it ended kinda fast. although i was expecting it lol
This manwha was only so-so. I really liked the premise but it was not developed enough for me. Hot Blooded Woman has a stronger female main character lot better. This one isn't terrible it just seems like the mangaka got tired of the story and ended it in one quick volume.
After almost three years of following this serie, even though it wasnt that grand but a good enough read, that's how the ending goes? omg.. what in the name of..?! I am truly dissapointed, though i give an applause to korean_manhwa for doing a great job in scanlating this serie, u guys did a great job and a belated congratulations on your 3rd anniversary ^^
lol Aquamarinecharlotte, i second your last three words towards mr.anonymous, even though his post was from mid last year and is now known as an anonymous XD.
