I do not like fighting or battle mangas normally. I do like having a very strong main character especially when it is a girl.
Here we have a "fighting" manhwa with a good amount of comedy and a female main character who is pretty much unbeatable in her own realm. Now she also has some weaknesses that are exploited but when she is fighting she does not have anyone that is really any competition.
I liked her attitude as well. The story overall was rather well told and with some like-able characters we have a good manhwa. Fortunately the fighting is more of a background to the story then the story itself. This means that it is not a true battle manhwa.
i loved this manhwa. Though, the mushy part when bada fell in love wasn't my fav, but i loved the fighting parts and when they found out that bada was the red lion. Also loved the the whole flashback on how she became red lion. Awsome!!!! ;D
i think you should read this before the hot blooded woman just because haha, its a good manga, i love the heroine and the guys and all but there's something in it maybe because ive read the hot blooded woman first if i hadn't i think i would've be more excited about this manga... its cute though and one of good mangas
Yippee! I finally found another strong female protagonist. I like females who stand up to bullies, who aren't afraid of everything, and who face life with a positive attitude. Plus, this manga is funny! I think I laughed out loud in nearly every chapter. It's just the right mixture of action, laughter, romance, and hardship. I started this manga thinking "I'll read the first chapter and see how it goes." and I didn't stop until I'd finished it - it was after midnight!
The art was okay, and I tend to have a weakness for stories about girls who fight against ooooh-so-evil-evil-powers (!), no matter how extremely cliché that may be. Eisul (the red lion) and Yumin were likable, and it was a fairly entertaining read.
On the other hand, the characters weren't characterized by more than a few superficial traits each, but I didn't anticipate that either. A pity that the story was rushed at times, especially during volume 6 and 7.
An okay manhwa, but don't expect a great work of art.
It was cute. Nice love triangle but played for comedy not that angsty non-sense. The action bits were pretty enjoyable and all of the plot-lines were resolved quite nicely while still leaving the story going in one of those "And so it continued." sort of conclusions. I like my cliches though, so don't expect anything new.
It was a cute and exciting story and I read the whole thing in one sitting.
It was really painful trying to finish this, but I did finished it, and I was tired by the end of it. There were cliches in almost all parts of the story. Even if I want to give a more detailed explanation for this, it'll be too long for just a comment.
One good thing is the ending, that was a cute surprise (about sejong). But over-all, bad.
when i first started reading this manhwa i just kept wanting more. but i just got completely tired of it when bada fell in love and the whole story got all mushy-mushy-ish so i dropped this manhwa for quite a while... >.>
though i picked it up again and this time i read it till the end.
so overall.. i guess its okay... wouldnt be one of my favs
though i luv the main heroine and those harem type mangas and manhwas~ >;D
This might contain a spoiler. The ending was pretty interesting. That one paragraph in the end was surely interesting, but I don't hate it. It leave the mind boggling about it. For me I thought it that even in the end everything was the same, happy ending to be exact.
