I'm looking for some suggestions for manga set from ancient times through the seventeenth century anywhere in this world or other.
Examples of titles I've read are: Red River (Anatolia Story), Legend of Nereid, Basara, Yume no Shizuku, Ougon no Torikago, Joou no Hana, Tsuki no Shippo.

Shihou Sekai no Ou - not much translated though and the manga is on hiatus since there wasn't any novel release in a while.

Realistic
Historie
Vinland Saga
Agrippa
Ad Astra
Date Masamune (YOKOYAMA Mitsuteru)
Kingdom
Heureka
Wolfsmund alert: gore and dark stuff

With fantasy
Reimei no Arcana
InuYasha
Kyuuketsu Yuugi
Shin Angyo Onshi it's probably after the 17th century even if it's not specified, but it's a very good manga.

Also it's hard for me to avoid mentioning Otoyomegatari, it's 19th century but it's one of the best (if not the best) ongoing manga for me.

A few series that are historic/fantasy themed (if you don't mind going through the time warp of manga)

Alfheim no Kishi
Ouke no Monshou
Kakan no Madonna

Some more recent titles:

Akagami no Shirayukihime-would suggest a period of time around a couple of years ago
Himegimi to Sanbiki no Kemono -same as above
Mademoiselle Butterfly-not as historic as the rest, set around WWII, but great read none the less
Amakusa 1637

Some other stuff! I'm not sure if you are willing to try some manhwa or even shounen/seinen (you seem more of a shoujo fan given your examples) but here are some other ones to check out

The Bride of the Water God-Again, not specified, but it is implied that it is set some time ago
Otome Youkai Zakuro-This one is Seinen, but I find it enjoyable
Evyione-A gender-reversed adaptation of the Little Mermaid (not the Disney kind)
Crazy Girl Shin Bia-I quite liked this one 🙂
New Sexy Simpleton
