I normally tend to listen to music when reading mangas. (I tend to keep one song repeating until I'm done reading). Weeks or even months later when I listen to say song I end up remembering the manga I read having nice flashbacks of while the song plays. (Sometimes I would search for a song that fits the theme of what I'm reading, others it just seems to fit oddly enough)

My question is what songs promotes trigger to what mangas?

Here are a few of mine.
Orange Marmalade by Mellowdrone -> Konjiki no Gash!!

No I in threesome by Interpol -> Hana wa Knife o Mi ni Matou

Come on Eileen by Dexys Midnight Runners -> Sun-ken Rock (Since this is still ongoing I have to play this song when reading an update, heh)

Rest my Chemistry by Interpol -> Hana no Namae
There's probably more, but I can't remember at the moment.

I thought I was the only who did that! 😮

But I don't listen to just one song, I usually have a whole playlist so different songs remind me of different scenes in the manga.

For me, whenever I listen to Demons by Imagine Dragons, I remember Fairy Tail.

Run by Snow Patrol reminds me of Spiral.

There are more but I can't remember them right now. Curse my weak memory! >.<

I didn't do it for a while and then I just happened to listen to a whole album, repeatedly while reading..
Shinobi Life while listening to Deftones - Diamond Eyes .
The story is set in historical Japan, and the album is quite.. modern. But it fits so well. And I loved when the atmosphere in manga changed (f.ex. from a battle to a very sad scene) and at the same time the songs changed... Now whenever I feel like listening to this album I remember scenes from the manga. Weird but nice.
