Life support - Inspired by NightSwan's How would you prefer to be disposed of? it made me think of living on life support.(tangent, heh) A bit shocked I couldn't find anything so here you go.
EDIT I forgot the word on in the poll question. >///////<
It should be If you were on life support what would you want?
If something were to happen to you where you would be hooked up on machines to breathe for you. What would you want to do? Stay on life support or take your chances/die on your own?
My answer would be under certain conditions. I'll explain more later ... need to go back to cleaning >.>
Yes yes, I know I make longwinded comments, but that's just me >.<
I should proof read my comments more, but I won't...
So keep in mind I'm filled with typos

I suppose if I were life support, I'd sit there saying "boop... boop... boop" all day and when someone pulled the plug go "beeeeeeeep" in a really annoying voice.
Lose - Opposite of win, to misplace something/someone. e.g. To lose your way, to lose a fight.
Loose - Opposite of tight. e.g. To have a loose screw, to loosen a jar lid.
^ Not just scanlators, but also company documents are getting it wrong now!

Ehh I suppose it would have to do with my chances of survival. I'm not a doctor, but from what I understand, if you need a machine to breathe for you, if taken away you're not really going to have a 'chance'.
Also, isn't 'life support' kind of vague? I mean it can range from CPR to dialysis to food and water tubes.
If I was like brain dead with no chance of recover, then let me go. If I'm in a coma with a less than 5% chance of waking up then let me go. If I'm old and have lived a good life and bringing me back will result in a serious reduction in quality of life, then I'd probably say don't bring me back.
I can't say for sure about the 'iffy' cases.
If its determined that I'll be needing a life support for the rest of my life, I'd rather die.. But if I can still be fixed, why not, as long as nobody would suffer(including me)

This.
It's what they call euthanasia, I think. We used to have debates about this in school.
