The active forum members seem to lean towards the male gender, but you still have to account for the non-active forum members, and the ones who aren't even registered (they're allowed to vote, right?).
Plus, another part of the reason could be that the guy's votes are more diverse, while the girls tend to make a united front and choose for the same thing...
