ichigo100%'s tsukasa nishino really reminded me of my first GF ^___^
Koi Kaze. Yeah, yeah, incest and all, I know. But I liked it because it actually showed the emotional development between them, as opposed to just "oh, you're hot, I love you now" - a theme that seems to be oddly appealing to shoujo mangakas. Yes, I do acknowledge the fact that sex appeal plays a large part in a relationship, especially in starting one, but it's not everything.
Fairy Cube. It felt far too rushed, seemed like it should've been at least five volumes... but still, for some reason I really enjoyed it.
Sunadokei. I like it because it's written in segments, and in the past tense... I don't know, it just makes it feel so much more dramatic or something. And despite the fact that the characters' feet are drawn as large as, or larger than, their heads, the drawings aren't that bad overall either.
I'm liking Reaching You thus far, just because the comedy doesn't kill the romance... something I find in far too many series. And, of course, Beck - Koyuki and Maho are the ultimate romance. The ups, the downs, the utter miscommunications... they've just got a brilliant dynamic that's a ton of fun to watch/read.
Also, After School Nightmare. I know which of the two possible romance I'm in favour of... and it's not happening at this point in the [scanlated] manga, but a girl can hope, right? I like how the main character's choices relate to the severe psychological issues caused by the whole body problem.... plus the game is really neat, especially wondering how people ended up the way they did.

^I agree with the Koi Kaze. It was weird, but good. Agreed on the Beck too.
There is one that I'm reading right now called Yume de Aetara that is a damn good romance.

This is one of my favorite romances as well. When I first read the summary I didn't want to read it because it put me off a bit. I came back to it again later on and I ended up liking it. I suppose I never enjoyed typical romances in the first place.
Well anyway Volume 7 was a huge relief.
Mashiro finally realized his/her feelings and confessed.

I totally have to read volume seven now. Off to the bookstore for me, then~
Yeah, I'm the same as you. I read the summay and didn't think it sounded that good at all. But then tsuto recommended it... and since I liked the other things grouped together with it, I gave it a try. Well worth it 😃
And, personally, I tend to go with her. I dunno, I just think that Mashiro's really... girly, I guess... overall. Plus the couple I liked has Mashiro as the girl, so that helps.

kare first love reminds me of my first love.
Romance isn't actually a theme in the series, but I actually really liked what happened in 20th Century Boys/21st Century Boys.
The whole thing with Kenji and Yukiji not admitting their feelings for each other, ever. I just found it very realistic. I mean, how many times have you liked someone and not told them only to find out later that they liked you too? I dunno, I think it just threw some realistic and good comedy into the series.

Uh, likewise.
And Manaka does not remind me of me. Safe _
But that's not all.
The relationship there is quite... realistic
That is, if you delete the two other babes, who are btw so stereotypical. Nishino isn't a simple character, you can tell the author worked on it. AND YET, some people root for Aya. Un-be-lie-va-ble. Thus, I don't have any complaints on how it ends.
Yep.
For the same reason, the Maho/Koyuki romance in Beck is also one of my favorites.
Edit -
Forgot Shin Angy Onshi, with both Sando/Mun Su and Kewil Hyang/Mun Su.

my favourite romance would have to be kare first love, because it shows all the obstacles everyone goes through, when they're in love.

hmmm... romance? first, suzuka. the ending itself, it makes you feel the colorful event that had happened before their wedding. Yamato and Suzuka is an awesome pair. it makes you cry during their breakup...
next would be Ichigo 100%... someone says its 3 babes. but a correction. its 4 babes... remember kozue? the over-imaginative girl from the cram school? that's the 4th... but still my tsukkie is the best....
there are still more, but i'll just post it up next time...
