Yes!!! I love Seigi no Mikata so much! They've released a few chapters recently, so I have hope. [And btw CITT is great too 🙂 ]

I haven't been reading as many josei but from the ones I have read I think these are the best:
7 Seeds
Cheese in the Trap
Gokusen
Shuukatsu!! - Kimi ni Naitei

7 Seeds for its incredible cast of characters. It's almost unbelievable how much Yumi Tamura has improved since Basara, and I say this as someone who loves Basara.
I'd also like to nominate Kaze Hikaru, though I'm not caught up with the latest English volume. (Unfortunately, Viz's asininely slow release schedule has put a damper on my enthusiasm for this series. If things continue the way they are, the most recent volume will be translated in 2029.)
Akimi Yoshida's Umimachi Diary is also a really nice slice-of-life series, though I've only read the first volume in French.

Chihaya Furu. I'm utterly obsessed with that manga/anime right now <33
I really enjoyed Kimi wa Petto, too.

YESSSS!! I definitely vouch for Chihayafuru!
- Beautiful art
- Awesome character development
- Introduces you to Karuta, something you've probably never heard of before
- Amazing storyline

...........Goodbye Midori-chan!
I was marching through these posts looking for a post like this one.
Of course, finding it was a relief.
Sayonara Midori-chan is my most recently completed josei and, for that matter, the second one I managed to finish (after Kami no Kodomo).

Hibari no Asa is currently what I'd consider the best manga. Volume one has amazing layouts and a really interesting story structure with parallel story lines all revolving around a single day.

I second Hyakki Yakoushou 😀 . An excellent mix of Japanese mythology and folklore accompanied by a great story and characters. I like the fact that this manga shows that josei is not exclusive to romance, drama or female-lead characters but, like seinen, covers a wide array of genres.
I love Hyakki Yakoushou! Perfect mix of supernatural/horror and human emotions
Its only sad that chapters dont come out more often. I want to know what will happen to Ritsu😔
