What type of uke suits you best in yaoi? Tell me why... 😃

For me it's in the middle because when I read yaoi I don't wana see a guy and a girl. I wana see two GUYS. I don't like the hary muscle men like bara. I like men like the kind in Haru wo Daiteita and in NEKOTA Yonezou's work. Not like OOTSUKI Miu's. Now that's just basically girls with no boobs and a whoohaa! 😲

I personally like the sarcastic, mature, and manly ukes like in A Talkative Fitting Room, or any of the ukes in this thread. Oh, I also like the completely innocent ones that don't look like a girl, like say...Kanjou Spectrum? I can't stand girly-looking ukes, not to mention ones that act like one. Don't give be that BS, 🤣 . Hmm, mysterious and spontanious ones aren't so bad either, like in Eien no Shichigatsu. Then there's the more-experienced-than-the-seme ukes, those are good too...I could go on, but I guess this is enough. ;___;
Really, any type of ukes that are not girly, looks like a girl, weak, frail, or any of the cliche` ukes are a plus for me.

I love the girly ones, girly, shy, and insecure one like Okane ga nai, or rebellious and futile type like Finder series. I like them being taken, being abused of, and being helpless. so girlie the better. (but i do no like cosplay at all. make it look soooo weird...)

I totally agree.. I love when the ukes are more masculine than the semes and when the semes are shy.. I love that.. :3
There is a manga called Kouun no Rihatsushi that fits what I like perfectly. Then there is one called Violence na Kimi ga Suki that is exactly what I like... 😛 I love that manga! XD

I love in the middle the best. But manly uke is pretty good too. 🙂 Sometimes I love it when the uke is bigger than the seme as long as the uke is the innocent type.

I prefer a manly uke 😀 , but not too hairy or on steroids... that's just... over the top. Some bara are OK (not all like bears and fatties 🤢 ) and I don't like yaoi with characters like sticks and girly characters--those are too unrealistic and not my ideal type of yaoi 😔 I like some series like Swift as Lightning, Sugar Milk, Giocatore, Hokaku Keikaku and Bokura ni Matsuwaru Etcetera 😃

My favorite uke of all time had to be that guy (can't think of his name) from Hatsuai. He was a little weirdo. He just does screwy, out-of-the-ordinary stuff. I like em weird like that.

Totally agree! I don't think I've read any BL with a unique character like that! 😃
