He most definitely is! My thoughts are far from chaste every time I see his pretty bespectacled face.

Hee! Ono Natsume (a.k.a. Basso) is single-handedly responsible for my oyaji fetish! Such sensitive, tenderly lined, expressive faces! And those quiet, slightly melancholy, puppy-like eyes!
whimper
😀
<3
Edit: THAT REMINDS MEEEEEE. The gorgeous older gents of Esuto Emu also qualify! Oomph. Have you read Est Em? Because OH my god! I think you'll love her works!

20 Mensou ni Onegai!!
Tsubasa: Reservoir Chronicle
Clamp Gakuen Tanteidan
The main characters in these are all perfect gentlemen. The last one is not romance, though, but it sill fits.

@Tartufo
I have read Est Em's stuff, they're lovely. I remember a particular spanish gentleman from Red Blinds the Foolish that got me drooling. 😃
You don't see them in her work as much though, not as frequently as in Ono's, in any case. At least that's the impression that I got from the very scant selection available on the net.
Oooh, but Tableau numéro 20! <3 (talk about the sexy cover on that!)

@atliye, you're right that (sadly) Est Em has fewer older gents... But the ones she DOES have are delish, aren't they? Mmmm... <3
@Vilde0806, thanks for the CLAMP recs! For some reason, I've never really gotten around to reading their manga... Which is a crime for anyone who claims to be an otaku, lol. Thanks!
Thanks also to everyone else!

Kanata Kara fits pretty close...
the guy in Cheese in the Trap but I think he's hiding something 😛
I think the Mekakushi no Kuni guy fits well too.
Go to work, send your kids to school;
Follow fashion, act normal;
Walk on the pavement, watch T.V.;
Save for retirement, obey the law.
Repeat after me: I am free.

I second Mekakushi no Kuni! I read this manga a long time ago but I still remember the guy as a pretty nice guy 🙂

I hear you say "Why?" Always "Why?" You see things; and you say "Why?" But I dream things that never were; and I say "Why not?"
