Hana Yori Dango (I LOVED THIS MANGA AND DRAMA)

When Tsukushi was forced to say goodbye forever to Domyoji in the rain in front of his mansion, after the fact that she finally confessed that she loved him during the day.

Tokyo Crazy Paradise:

When Kamojima sacrifices himself for Renji and later Tsukasa almost mimicks his attack to kill Freya. Also, the whole time she is fighting Freya, Ryuji can't do anything to help her, and in the end, he finally is able to hold her in his arms again.

Quote from sycoal

I was torn up when Jiraya died in the Naruto manga series, he was an ecchi sage...he was my favorite character

Yep that was for me too... and when Tsunade cried alone calling him "stupid old man"..I guess it was the fact that Jiraiya at his last moments. felt he hadnt done anything much worthwhile..but maybe unknown to him, he was cherished a lot..its rather poignant.

Funnily enough, its a bit like Harry potter 😀 . the chosen one, his master dies- his student kills him...etc etc I was so sad when Dumbledore died..although thats off the context..

and yeah, in FMA too- I was WTF! They killed

Hughes !! They cant kill such a jolly character! Its been happening in lots of series too, I mean like CSI, they killed ! Warrick 😔

I'm not very emotional or easily moved but here are a few of my favourite heartwrenching scenes for some of my favourite manga.

The ending to Akuma no Ororon when

Ororon dies just because he's been fighting continually to protect Chiaki despite knowing that if he did so he wouldn't be able to live. Was such a good ending and so sad the way it was done

X has loads but the best most heartwrenching one has to be when

Fuuma pinned Kamui down and killed Kotori in front of him and Kamui's whole helpless situation where, despite being very powerful, he can't fight his best friend.

In 07 Ghost when

Teito is made to fight and then watch Mikage die .

Also Angel Sanctuary and Ayashi no Ceres have a good number of scenes that tug at the heartstrings but none that really jump out for me at the moment.

i'll add another one

this one is from GTO

that was when Onizuka saved Urumi from that snow park.... yet before even saving, Onizuka punches the Vice Principal. Onizuka's speech really touch me.

In Threads of Time (warning, really major spoiler)

When the main caracter, realizes that he is the reincarnation of the enemy general that brutally raped amd murdered his family and killed all those he had been fighting to protect

after this i just found myself staring into the void in tears 🙁
I also found a lot of the before mentioned, very heartbreaking too, but this one was like a stab...

Actually yes, that too...and at the end, he realizes

why his parents treated him with so much hostility. and it really pained me to see how he accepted all that at the end of the manga..almost happily - well, with tears I guess..

Quote from Walrothetacoking

Gunslinger Girl wins in my book.

All the scenes with Angelica right before she dies made for the most emotional content I've ever read in a manga

I agree completely.
The saddest moment in the 10 volumes so far and the saddest of all the tragedies happened in Manga and Anime I've seen.

I second that or is third that?
The only manga that broke me down crying.

Another manga that didn't make me cry, but tear are:
Air (Key)
Tomoyo After

The anime of AIR just...... breaks me down every time....

The part in X when

Subaru Kills Seishiro was one of the only times a manga has actually made me cry, although at the same time I just couldn't get over how pretty the art was 😕

The ending of Diablo was so sad it made me feel kinda sick... (books and manga get me waaayy to much)

And the back story of the skeleton with the afro from One Piece. I love how one of the most ridiculous characters has the most poignant back story. 🙂

In Fruits Basket, when they went into Tohru's parents love story. You know how it's going to end, but the whole thing was just so damn sweet. I got a little choked up.
